Recent hours ago I was at the park. People were talking to me like one after another. They were like I hear the first few words and can follow. But then it seems like they’re just rambling and I’m like “yeah”. I can’t lose my hearing. But if not understanding what people say is the extent, that’s pretty good for me. I don’t want to hear all of people’s words anyways. And they were men that I heard. Maybe I don’t have this. Because idk if I can’t hear high pitch sounds.

I just said good morning and continued on my way, but when I heard a scream, I turned around and saw that he was waving his hand. My hearing loss is rated moderate to severe, with most loss at the higher frequencies. You say your loss is also moderate to severe. I'm trying to assess is if the Beyond device will work for me. Did you spend any extended time using the Beyond to determine how well it actually might work for your situation?

I’ve owned both and the beyond’s are so much better. I have tinnitus this feature works great. I do however have Bluetooth connectivity issues when I step away from my phone. ELEHEAR is a great company and great service and app updates that make the experience much better.

For dessication you can also use they little packets that come in food and vitamin bottles and stuff them all in a jar with your HAs (ask me how I know), and you could get a power inverter to put a house and USB plugs in your car and charge them that way. As for transcription, if it's a message from Biden or Harris, just eat a bowl of alphabet soup and take a dump and the message would be just as clear.

I carry a NoCo 1k amp jump box for every car I own. Its in my backpack when I ride off road, dirt bike or truck. Side benefit is it charges my aids which is my last thing I will charge in an emergency. I just ran into this doing relief work in w/NC. where I was gone several days at a time.

I just broke my collarbone last Tuesday and I’m super nervous about the recovery of my surgery since I’ve never gotten it before is it I also get my surgery in around 2 weeks but mine im prettt comfy but what does the recovery processs look like? Is it as bad as I’ve been told?

I am a new HA wearer. Two months in with Spheres. I started with domes. They were not comfortable. Sometimes painful and I had issues with them backing out. I now have been wearing Slim Fit custom moulds for two weeks. I inserted them into my ears as far as they would go, so that the mould flange was flush with the concha. The right mould was painful and backed out. I now know that they are both more comfortable and stable with them inserted 1 or 2 mm farther out and the wires are not flush with my ear. The sound quality is good. Shouldn't they be made so that they fit all the way in?

If you only see a word written and don't have someone pronounce it for you, there are so many words that absolutely do not look like they're pronounced in English. Long ago when I was a mentor to some teens for a quiz type thing, one of the kids proudly gave the correct answer to "where is the Air Capital of the World" as Wah-chee-tah. There was a moment of puzzlement when one of the adults chuckled and said "Whit-cha-tah", Wichita, KS. I still struggle with Yose-mite and have to think of the cartoon character to say Yosemite (yo-sem-eh-tee) correctly.

I hate reading aloud, and 25 YEARS AGO (in high school), I had to read a passage in my Brit Lit class. The word was canal, but I was concentrating so hard, so as not to screw up, that I said cANAL (like "cay-nul" vs "cuh-naal"). I still die inside, to this day! 😂😂😂

I'm a reader, so I've always known more words than I know how to pronounce correctly. So for example the word I hate the most, Colonel which if said the way it spelled is way cooler in my opinion than the correct pronunciation which is kernel. I know it's happened several times, but that is the only word popping up in my head right now

Haha.. i pronounced cirque du soleil, circtus ole.. i had never seen it spelled b4. My husband still makes fun of me 😂
