Whould these work with a high frequency hearing loss and tinnitus?

I have tinnitus and mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears (right ear worse) Im new to the hearing work and iam shocked at the prices, because my insurance doesn't cover it. Great video and info on my new journey.

I just got back from flying Delta and was impressed that when I step onboard and let the stewardesses know I am hearing impaired, they usually tell me my seat number! They clearly were informed a woman with hearing loss was traveling that day. They also let me board early to get situated and let the stewardesses in the back know about my hearing impairment (I’m severe to profound.). I don’t have a Roger mike and didn’t figure out a way to stream to my hearing aids…. I had trouble on my flight out with getting My Phonak app to work which is how I control my hearing aids. But did on the way back and then I can use adjustments to greatly reduce ambient noise and also lower the volume. I appreciated your educating in a comment answer about DAI cable. Something for me to look into, but a cochlear implant is probably in my future. Funny note: There was someone to greet me with a my name and a wheelchair when I deplaned! She didn’t speak good English and had a hard time understanding I did not need a wheelchair.😂

Theoretically they solve the problem of manufacturers not developing a waterproof/resistant hearing aid but I'm not impressed with the loud and proud colors. NOT AT ALL! Her excitement is hardly impressive. An ultra slim tight fitting rubber or latex cover would be of interest. Too bad.

Great video. I need to try this app. I simply stopped going to restaurants because I can't hear people talk over all the noice even though one of my ears still works. Been stereo deaf for 15 years. Heard that also has remote mics that might help as well. This is all great news :)

New to wearing hearing aids. Recently diagnosed with moderate bilateral RSHL. I have the dome ear pieces and they aren’t too bad. I’m not too entirely sure about trying that custom ear molds as I would probably need to remove a bunch of ear piercings, which I don’t want to have to do. Is it possible to have a smaller mold made, like one that just fits the ear canal?

I'm going in for a fitting tomorrow at Costco. My hearing test shows that I have a severe drop in the higher frequencies, but just a mild drop in the lower. I'm interested in seeing if a custom mold would be beneficial to me, but I can tell that the fitter doesn't seem keen on the idea. (Not sure if it's because she doesn't think it would be helpful, or if it would just be more work for her). Just wanted to ask you what kind of mold you show in this video - is it a canal lock? Thanks for the great information you provide!

I myself wear custom mold, hearing aids I have a Bilateral hearing loss. And what I noticed with the custom moulds is the sound of I believe it’s called inclusion and sometimes people say I’m talking louder than I can actually hear myself. But I find the custom mold, hearing aids a lot better than the dome hearing aid option. 4:31

I'm in the moderate range I'm anywhere from 40-70db of loss more on my right ear my kids get so angry with me because I have them repeat things all the time they think just because I have hearing aids my hearing should be perfect and it's far from it.

Re sound here in Portugal the unit costs about seven thousand euros. personally, I believe that apple bought Beats they could produce a better and cheaper unit

I started getting these since I started using my Buds Pro over a year ago. I got rid of it a couple of months ago. The pain is ridiculous. And the itching doesn't makes it any better even when its healing. The scaring never goes away and it itches and not to long after, the pimple would come back repeating the cycle

I'm new to hearing aids.........and I have jumped into the shower three times now !!! Jumped out again pretty quickly and got them dry . All was well thank goodness . Thanks for this great advice , you are a star ! ⭐

One thing I really like about my hearing aids, the Phonak Audeo M30R, is the Bluetooth connectivity. It really helps with talking on the phone and listening to RUclips videos. I would be interested in looking into something OTC when the time comes to replace these if it has Bluetooth. Looking forward to your part II video!

I doesn't use earbuds/earphones but I got these pimples. I guess it is my unbalanced diet. Gonna try your tips so the swelling will go down faster

Back in 2022, I honeymooned in Jamaica with rechargeable KS10 BTEs for a severe hearing loss. But forgot the charger. 🤦‍♂ Nothing for sale on the island, of course. But here's the catch. No online seller would ship expedited overseas! Not Costco, not Phonak, Not Amazon, not even eBay. 🤷‍♂ In the words of the Ancient Mariner... Water, water everywhere (chargers online). Nor any drop to drink (in Jamaica)! 🏝
