crazy to see this show up on my recommended, Mr. Hern was my PE teacher in high school, I remember him telling us and showing us a few news articles/videos about his son from the Boston Marathon bombing. I’m surprised they weren’t in the recent Netflix documentary about the Boston Marathon

One of the most heart-warming stories I've ever heard -- what an awesome, awesome young man -- and couldn't be any more proud of his decision to go to my alma mater. Blessings Aaron -- and thanks for entering into even more service to our great country! Doug -- USNA '88

Its truly a miracle that only 3 people died at the bombing site. Like those two bombs should have killed hundreds. Its insane that with all the people packed together dozenw weren't killed outright. Then add the shrapnel and ball bearings, which somehow mainly only affected the lower extremities of the victims and you have a true miracle. If those ball bearings and shrapnel had flown higher in the air, it would have been even worse.

Someone that worked the cameras said that the FBI had to confiscate the videos of the victims. Worst one was someone being wheeled out with their own guts in their arms. Rest in peace to the victims, you will be missed by many.

It's great to see that the bombing experience he didn't make that his life but now you can see it was just a life situation. Nice kid look at him he's paying attention to his life not his life situation. Good for you young man you make America proud for us.

Having a New England hero narrate really drives home the narrative.
He's reading from a script, he wasn't there.
May as well ask another New England hero - Joe Andruzzi
    He was there...
