    What is your process for analyzing sound to re-design? How do you know what saw wave and how much filter you should be adding or removing when recreating the sound

      @@dwayneb2231 It’s all done by ear. The same way you can hear the difference between a piano and a trumpet, after years of using synths I can hear a sound and know if it’s a sine, saw or square etc.

      @@dwayneb2231 The best way to start is by identifying effects like delays and reverbs. Is the reverb long or short? Is there distortion? Are there any modulation effects like chorus phaser or flanger.. And for the filter setting, you will know because your sound will sound “buzzy” and you just reduce it to match the original song
