Honestly, thank you guys for reacting to this video. Like 100% I am so greatful and happy. This comeback means so much to me, SHINee, and shawols. They did a concert shortly after Jonghyun's passing and people said some really hurtful stuff, saying that they were taking advantage of the time. They've been making music for 10 years and are basically brothers, and for me they're one of the kings of Kpop, and Jjong was a musical genius. He was a writer and producer, and his music really came to life and helped me a lot. As of right now we think the fox had to do with the book 'The Little Prince' since it was one of his favorite books. This music video is of of the 3 episodes that are dropping. The second one is coming soon, we're already getting teasers for it now. Also, I thought of you guys when I saw the fox so I thought it would be cute to react to lol. Also, thank you for the small tribute, Lena is probably gonna expose me for getting teary eyed, but thank you. Im also gonna drop these recommendations just because I know yall like visuals and dancing. In Kpop its normal during breaks for artists in the group to do solo activites. Taemin (the youngest in my group and my bias teehee) came out with a song called "Move". I think it would be great to react to, and I also think TVXQ "The Chance of Love" would be great to react to as well. They've been out longer than SHINee and are kings in my eyes as well. "The Chance of Love" was a comeback that happened recently after both member were released from military duty. Ps. This^ was really wayyyyy too long, but the feels, ya know?

The only symbolic thing in the music video that is confirmed is the fox, which meaning will be revealed probably on the 2nd-3rd episode of the album. Also there will be more things about the mvs that's going to come out as all three mvs come out.

Well for the feedback you can check out a live stage of Good Evening, their dancing pretty much expresses what they've been through and it goes from smooth to energic moves. Did you realize the acting in this MV? The intense lighting(representing media) on their faces is annoying them, Key(the guy who breaks the piano) looks behind before he gets happy and keep running in the forest, just to mention a few. Thank you for reacting to Shinee... yess, they have celebrated their 10th anniversary. In this MV there are, as you've said, have many symbolic. There was a scene where all of them are looking into a well and you can see there is only one shadow shown inside the well -- Shawols have speculated that it is Jonghyun's shadow. There was also a scene where Key smashed the piano; it is said that it is a way to show his frustration in the music industry. These are the symbolic scene that I caught up after watching the mv as well as the fox which represented the book which Jonghyun likes (The little prince) Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

For symbolism they are saying the blue ring represents a Halo and it's blue because that's the groups color. In addition, at the end there was a shadow in the well that's Jonghyun shadow. For the fox I'm not so sure it may representing Jonghyun too I don't know.

And it's primarily because the chorus lyrics to Cupid talk about taking risks because you wont know unless you give it a try and SHINee, after losing Jonghyun, had to find a way to move on after his passing and they wouldn't have known if it would work out unless they gave it a shot.

The day I got heard the news about his passing I became super depressed for a whole month and couldn't sleep, I honestly couldn't believe it....and reading his suicide note that he wanted his sister to post so everyone could read how hurt and depressed he was all of those years having to hide it front of the cameras but most of us knew, we could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice....all 5 of them were supposed to have the comeback together but Jonghyun unfortunately something that he read between fandoms really got to him and it made him snap plus on top of already suffering from depression, anxiety, loneliness(even tho he had his group), other mental issues.

I hope this will help 😊 Lily X M ( commentor) There are so many references in this MV, I feel I can write a thesis and everything but for now, I'll only point out a couple of things: I) That fox is a main character from Jjong's favorite book, "The Little Prince". The "bad" cgi on the fox is intentional and alludes to The Little Prince book animations. II) In several cultures the fox bears a symbolic assosiation to the afterlife. In Celtic folklore "The ancient Celts considered the Fox an expert on the layout of the forest and held this particular animal in high esteem for it’s wisdom. They also relied upon the Fox with his intuitive sense of direction to be their guide on the path to the spirit world" Keep in mind that we did see the boys run through a forest. III) There is an 5th empty chair in the beginning. Also at the part where they are at the well, there are 5 trees behind them and there is also a 5th person as a shadow inside it. The point when they are looking inside the well itself is also a scene from "The Little Prince" book animations and I am a crying mess again. IV) The pearl aqua blue lighting throughout the MV and the pearl aqua "stage" the dance on is a shoutout to SHAWOL (pearl aqua blue is the fandom's official color). V) The song's lyrics are very heartwarming and touching and, imho, the are for both Jonghyun and SHAWOL. VI) I also think that the reference to 112 Cupid is more than an hommage. It's more of a message for all the negative things they've been hearing this whole time since that day. I won't elaborate further on this, fans know what I'm talking about. The only symbolic thing in the music video that is confirmed is the fox, which meaning will be revealed probably on the 2nd-3rd episode of the album. Also there will be more things about the mvs that's going to come out as all three mvs come out.

Well for the feedback you can check out a live stage of Good Evening, their dancing pretty much expresses what they've been through and it goes from smooth to energic moves. Did you realize the acting in this MV? The intense lighting(representing media) on their faces is annoying them, Key(the guy who breaks the piano) looks behind before he gets happy and keep running in the forest, just to mention a few. Thank you for reacting to Shinee... yess, they have celebrated their 10th anniversary. In this MV there are, as you've said, have many symbolic. There was a scene where all of them are looking into a well and you can see there is only one shadow shown inside the well -- Shawols have speculated that it is Jonghyun's shadow. There was also a scene where Key smashed the piano; it is said that it is a way to show his frustration in the music industry. These are the symbolic scene that I caught up after watching the mv as well as the fox which represented the book which Jonghyun likes (The little prince)

For symbolism they are saying the blue ring represents a Halo and it's blue because that's the groups color. In addition, at the end there was a shadow in the well that's Jonghyun shadow. For the fox I'm not so sure it may representing Jonghyun too I don't know.

And it's primarily because the chorus lyrics to Cupid talk about taking risks because you wont know unless you give it a try and SHINee, after losing Jonghyun, had to find a way to move on after his passing and they wouldn't have known if it would work out unless they gave it a shot.
The US singer/songwriter Bryan Jackson participated in making melody for this song " Good evening ". He used elements from 90s R&B group 112's Cupid in the tract.

The day I got heard the news about his passing I became super depressed for a whole month and couldn't sleep, I honestly couldn't believe it....and reading his suicide note that he wanted his sister to post so everyone could read how hurt and depressed he was all of those years having to hide it front of the cameras but most of us knew, we could see it in his eyes and hear it in his voice....all 5 of them were supposed to have the comeback together but Jonghyun unfortunately something that he read between fandoms really got to him and it made him snap plus on top of already suffering from depression, anxiety, loneliness(even tho he had his group), other mental issues.

There are so many references in this MV, I feel I can write a thesis and everything but for now, I'll only point out a couple of things:
I) That fox is a main character from Jjong's favorite book, "The Little Prince". The "bad" cgi on the fox is intentional and alludes to The Little Prince book animations.
II) In several cultures the fox bears a symbolic assosiation to the afterlife. In Celtic folklore "The ancient Celts considered the Fox an expert on the layout of the forest and held this particular animal in high esteem for it’s wisdom. They also relied upon the Fox with his intuitive sense of direction to be their guide on the path to the spirit world" Keep in mind that we did see the boys run through a forest.
III) There is an 5th empty chair in the beginning. Also at the part where they are at the well, there are 5 trees behind them and there is also a 5th person as a shadow inside it. The point when they are looking inside the well itself is also a scene from "The Little Prince" book animations and I am a crying mess again.
IV) The pearl aqua blue lighting throughout the MV and the pearl aqua "stage" the dance on is a shoutout to SHAWOL (pearl aqua blue is the fandom's official color).
V) The song's lyrics are very heartwarming and touching and, imho, the are for both Jonghyun and SHAWOL.
VI) I also think that the reference to 112 Cupid is more than an hommage. It's more of a message for all the negative things they've been hearing this whole time since that day. I won't elaborate further on this, fans know what I'm talking about. Esp the part of the lyrics of 112 Cupid that go:
"Girl if I told you I love you
That doesn't mean that I don't care, oooh
And when I tell you I need you Don't you think that I'll never be there, ooooh
Baby I'm so tired of the way you turn my words into
Deception and lies
Don't misunderstand me when I try to speak my mind

There are so many layers to this song & MV, I could write so much more but I'll stop here. I hope what I did write made sense, If not, forgive me; my mind and heart are racing, I'm too shook right now.
