Malcom was a trend setter. He single handedly made detail a thing in his day. He was the John Allen of the 80's without the Wizard Of Oz look. Many of the greats of the hobby back then were equal to Furlow but most were simply followers of a new concept. I'm glad to see his layout lives on. But all the layouts here are simply works of art.

Smugglers Cove is a beautiful layout filled with so many details, it is the last masterpiece created by the late Geoff Nott and Michael Flack, I have been lucky enough to see it a number of times in the flesh at exhibitions in Sydney before it finally made its way to its new home in the US.

I'm lucky enough to see it on a daily basis if I want to as I live 3 miles from the CSRM.
