Welcome to another video folks! Tonight's is another daily diet challenge, since I know so many of you love these things. I came across an article detailing Khabib's daily diet a couple of weeks back when the hype for his big title defence was ramping up. @KH Performance Lab probably "full of it" was the wrong phrase. 'plenty' would have been more accurate I think. Without the tuna and chicken, a 70kg dude would still be getting enough protein here.
@@timurzadeh6067 You can still 'cut' whilst maintaining your RDA for protein. In fact, I would imagine that a higher-than-normal intake of protein on a low calorie diet would still allow a person to 'cut'. I'm no nutritionist but he's getting at least 56g protein (not including the meat and fish), which would be just about enough for a 70kg guy. He's probably getting 80g more or less with the diet, inclusive of the meat and fish.
No actually , I think that’s his actual daily diet because , khabib explained that during his weight cut meals , he only has 2 meals a day , which consists of chicken and a little rice or salmon with rice and vegetables , and gallons on gallons of water daily.
You should mention that this meal plan is during his fight camps when he’s cutting weight from around 185 lbs down to his weigh in weight of 155 lbs. The reason Khabib doesn’t use salt, sodium or sauce during this phase is because it makes the human body hold onto water. In order for Khabib to make 155 lbs he has to cut a ton of water out of his body during the week of the fight. Weigh ins are Friday morning typically. So he weighs in at 155 lbs and then immediately starts to rehydrate up to around 175 lbs for his fight. Alhamdulillah 🙏
This BS is not only stupid, but very very dangerous and bad for the body and should not be allowed. You should have to fight at your weigh in weight. Can’t make the weight? Fight in your actual weight class.

I presume this diet is for him when cutting weight because if you follow him on Instagram you'll see he doesn't eat like this when out of training camp. He cuts from about 190lb to 155lb so that's why the calories are low

i do greek yogurt, a mixture of chopped nuts i keep in an airtight jar and i add a tablespoon of honey and mix it up and it's an awesome meal. You're right the nuts really make a nice texture contrast. That being said I would have trouble eating that bland food. Not sure where he gets his energy from with that meal but the results are impressive lol
Hey Beard, great video, as always! Quick request: would you be willing to make one video on your workout regimen? You can do the same thing you do in these eating challenges (speed it up), but I'd love to see what a workout for a guy like you looks like.
nobody would watch that mate...nothing special about how i train....just fitness channels that make you believe there's something special about them. Basic compound lifts, train for about an hour. Train with reasonable intensity. That's about it haha
Even at 2x the amount I think my pet mouse would have still been hungry. Despite it not being super appetizing food it was fun to watch Mr Beard doing a "clean" challenge.
Fibre is good for you. I eat similar to this and do not have gas problems. The minerals and vitamins in veggies and beans help to maintain your mental clarity and makes you feel really good. His protein comes from the eggs and chicken, yogurt and beans; I think you've eaten more than enough of that champ despite the fact that we don't really work out that much.

i believe boxers and kickboxers generally ban sodium is because they can get under a certain weight limit allowed for the class they're fighting in, so if they lose as much water as possible before the weigh in, they can have more muscle mass to give them that edge over the opponent (not certain if this is correct for all the fighters but i've heard this story from a professional kickboxer)

That is a crazy small amount of calories for as much training as the guy does. You doubled it and it still wasn't 5,000 calories. Sure it is a lot of food, just not a lot of calories.

Remeber it’s all about making weight. So they keep the carbs very low till after weigh in! The stretch the Vegas nerve in the jaw to help not getting knocked out so easy.
Another interesting fact about Khabib aswell, he walks around at 190-195 pounds and fights at 155lbs. So in a fight camp which is usually 8-12 weeks he cuts about 40 pounds. Which is insane lol
Colorful looking food. Dry salad sounds bad. If there's not much salt, the pickled eggs is a decent choice. At least there's some flavoring if you can't salt the hard boiled eggs. Yogurt and blueberries mixed together are tasty.

Theres a big difference between cane sugar (table sugar) and natural sugar

eating in the off season/when you have no scheduled fights is one thing but when you have to do a weight cut to make weight ya that diet is ruff!!

i was back to normal much quicker, but the fibre made the night very uncomfortable
