I used a different module but it is basically the same. There are a lot to choose from. Thanks for this. They sell a unit that is brand specific at my local hardware store. It is $85. This was only $10 and I have to garage doors. Saved $160.

Thank you for the video, I did two similar to this (one for the garage door and another one for the gate) but I don't have the inching mode on smartthings and I had to add a routine for auto-off after 1 second.
Now I'm after a device that will give me an indication of the gate's situation.
The gate has limit switches and I want to use them for that purpose. All I need is a wifi device that whether the circuit is open or closed.
Do you know such a device?

I'm having troubles with mine. I connected a 12VDC power source and wish to open a 8-12V door lock. The problem is that I don't receive any usable voltage on the outlet pins after the Relay. on the back I also measured with my multimeter and no voltage on the solder on the back. The Relay does click but no power.
Am I doing something wrong or die I received a bad copy?

You have to be sure you connect to 2,4GHz network. That could be your problem, but I’m not 100% sure.
