I'd definitely be interested in floor inserts and a seat delete panel for a coupe! As far as getting it running i would try resetting the ecu. Disconnect battery/ecu fuse for 10 min. If that doesn't work depending on what map sensor your running it's possible that you may have got the TPS and MAP plugs mixed up if it's running a TB mounted MAP sensor(both share same style plugs). After that I'd check your vacuum lines like everyone else mentioned. After that I'd check your IACV plug. Unplug it and see what it does, see if it throws a code or not, it may be disabled on the tune, or not functioning properly. After that I'd check injector plugs. Depending on whether the engine was from an obd1 or obd2 chassi they use a different injector plug, some people will try to modify the obd2 injectors to fit the obd1 accord harness, this can lead to a bad connection especially with solid mounts(I've had this happen personally and took me awhile to figure out). Also maybe your base idle setting, bleed coolant, ect. Hopefully it's one of those things, simple stuff anyone can mess up. And as far as niche parts for the cb7 check out cheddasauto.com he actually makes a couple short shifters for the cb7 among many other specialty parts for older honda chassis. I have his single bend shifter and love it.
Rack & Pinion , New Stage 1 Clutch / flywheel / main seal all replaced today. The ECU is weird, never seen one blank like that. I can finally get to the idle issue tomorrow, and I don't think it is anything major. Like you stated I believe it is a simple vacuum leak or routed in-correctly. It ran fine before I tore it apart. =) I will have a video of it driving on the road very soon.
I had the same problem with my cb7. It is a 93 f22b1 swap and it runs great until the thermostat opens up. It turns out that the guy that did the swap did not swap the ecu. It still has the stock PT3 in it when it needs a POA-OA1. I have swapped the ecu and it now runs perfect. Just thought this may help you out!
Amigo. Check vacuum lines. Make sure everything connected. A fuel line may be pinched or kinked. Look in and around fuel rail and throttle body. A fresh pair of eyes helps.
I would check your Iacv mine would kinda do that too. But it would dip from high idle and go down and back up. Seems like it's a simular issue to me. H22 cb7 love!! Edit: I'm super interested in a rear seat delete for my coupe! I'm planning oh going with a fuel cell so I would need it to be a proper thickness to be track legal though!
Double check all of the vacuum lines, and you have to make sure you bleed all of the air pockets out of the coolant system. Use a for sure stock H22 ECU to see if it operates differently. 👍
Just give up is your motto? I would rather learn as I progress on the build and gain knowledge at the same time. Hoping these videos help others when they want to start there own project. Thank You for your support and watching the video
Found your channel I also own a cb7 love the content

Bro keep up the good work stick at it. Cb7s are underestimated greatly. 🤘🏼
THANK YOU for the support!!

i would be interested in some custom cb7 parts

Yeah, I may ave unplugged one of them when taking the front end apart.
I know this shits old but could be the maf or the tps being faulty.... also pop open the ecu and see what type of ecu you have....
Yea make some custome parts
I know you are a CB7 lifer...If there is anything brewing in your head, let me know. Im going to move quick with this project.
YURparts ya rear seat delete and floor panels would be sick. I’m not sure on what els
great minds think alike
Hey man,try changing the ecu first,
What happened with the build
Just got it back a few days ago. New MONOTECH harness, but still runs shitty. More updates coming soon
You might as well get rid of it if you dont know what you're doing
