I work in a retail store where customer interaction is a huge factor. I've only had one person come up to me using sign language and I was so confused, I see now how genuinely important this video can be so please keep this series up. I love you randy!
My daughter is autistic and didn't speak verbally, until age 10.. But thankfully her school taught her Makaton and ESL at the age of 5. So learning how to sign, was the only way we could communicate. I love these videos, because giving your subs, even just a basic knowledge. May one day, prevent that awkward social moment we all used to dread. When confronting someone in public. With this kind of communication barrier. Kudos to you for doing a second video.. (◕‿◕) xx
She's definitely a teacher... Citing sources... Explaining things well(although a lot of teachers suck at this..)...And acting as if this is an actual lesson and not ASMR. Love it.
I'm dying for more of these. I've got an acquaintance who was thrilled when I ran into him and signed that I'm learning asl. Thank you for your work! :)
Awesome! So happy to see another video lesson for Sign Language from you! Even tho you decided to go back just to recover what we last learned and double checking if anything was missed, really shows how much you care about what you teach and show to us viewers! Again, looking forward to more video lessons!
Hi Randy. Thanks again, I'm really enjoying this. It's just nice to hear someone talk about something they know about. Not expecting you to be an expert teacher, I'm just getting a light intro vibe, however I appreciate the effort you put in to looking at various perspectives on the subject because it's opening my eyes to it. Look forward to any more you decide to make!
Thank you for doing this series! I'm loving it, and, though not getting tingles because I'm focusing a lot, feeling really relaxed while learning. It's a perfect state to pick up new knowledge. :)
I love these when I have the time to sit down and feed my brain a little with some learning and visual ASMR. Makes for a great combo and a happier me :D It's also very apparent that you're quite passionate about this with the amount of effort you're putting into it, which results in great videos!
Oml I love these videosssss!!!! They are absolutely tingly + informational. I love asl and I'm highly interested in learning. Keep these videos coming pleaseeeeee. Thank you! Much love ❤️ Hannah
I knew a girl once who was very mentally undeveloped for her age from her deafness. Despite being high school age she hadn't mastered the ability to write normal English. She was easily aggravated when people couldn't understand her and was prone to outbursts. I tried to help her initially, but over time it came to be that you had to simply tolerate this behavior and be understanding. I did my own share of research at the time on the subject and it's apparently not too uncommon for deaf children to develop more slowly, but in her case I think perhaps she either had another underlying disability, or her parents didn't get her the help she needed early enough. That's been many years, and I have no idea what's happened to her since then, but the entire experience certainly enlightened me on the subject of deafness and ASL, which makes this video series all the more interesting.
Amazing video as always! But I think you can improve one aspect of your videos,I really liked in your last ASL lesson that you talked to us like you're talking to a single person and it made it feel like a private lesson and it made it feel much more special and ASMR triggery. Here you used the words `you guys` and talked to your crowd and not to the listener personally and it took away from what it could have been and it made me feel like i'm sitting in a class with more people around me ahaha. Keep up the good work Randy we love you!
Me and A friend of mine talked about it and he made it for me after we collaborated on what it was and what colors to use and then I added the finger fluttering ❤️❤️❤️❤️ my friend is amazing!!!
Brian Young I took it in high school cause I thought it was the coolest language they offered and I ended up really enjoying it. So I kept my books in case I found time to jump back into it. :)
Itz Randy, betches... 16K & growing... so awesome! Such an original concept, too. It translates well to the ASMR genre. You'd make a great teacher, IMO. By the by; has anyone ever told you that you look like Anna Kendrick? You're so pretty. Much love from St. Louis...
I have a large beard. How will this affect signs such as "hearing person" ? If I do that motion over the beard but still touching my chin I just get my finger tangled in my beard. If I do it under the beard you can't see what I'm doing. Would most Deaf men shave for this reason?
Really?? Haha awesome thank you, glad to hear :), i know its a little odd but the buzzing from electric razers is actually a good trigger for me, although I feel some might find them too loud.
I think this is an amazing concept for a video series. I have just one question: how come you know sign language? Did you learn it to be able to communicate with a loved one, for work or as a hobby? Or something completely different altogether?
kledo5778 I took two years in high school because it was the most interesting language they offered to me and I fell in love with the language and I kept my books in case I found time to jump into it again:)
Are those new ways to sign the letters because when i took a ASL class a couple of years ago I was never taught that. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything i'm just curious
yoOoo I love lifeprint!! Hahah but likethe videos that dude makes that are totally silent are really hard for me to focus on, this is a lot easier to watch hahaha thank you! Like I know this isn't insanely serious but I dig it keep it going :^)
Hey guys!! So I can jump back to roleplay for the series if you want! Let me know what you guys enjoy more.. I just wanted to fix lesson one :)
I don't even care about the ASMR aspect anymore, just the signs are so intresting , the ASMR it's just a luxury here, really. Good shit.

I'm totally on board. Took it in high school. A refresher while getting ASMR is awesome

Me and A friend of mine talked about it and he made it for me after we collaborated on what it was and what colors to use and then I added the finger fluttering ❤️❤️❤️❤️ my friend is amazing!!!
Very nice again,and informative,thanks
Not sure if you mentioned before but what was your reason for learning so much about ASL and learning the language?
Brian Young I took it in high school cause I thought it was the coolest language they offered and I ended up really enjoying it. So I kept my books in case I found time to jump back into it. :)
Let's hope we get like 10 parts or more hhhhh
Eduardo DOS REIS I'll keep this going don't worry 🙌🏻
Itz Randy, betches...

I love these lessons :3
Randy: "I'm going to start by giving you guys a lecture"... Me at the front of the class 🤓
is there international sign language that everyone should know ?
I have a large beard. How will this affect signs such as "hearing person" ? If I do that motion over the beard but still touching my chin I just get my finger tangled in my beard. If I do it under the beard you can't see what I'm doing. Would most Deaf men shave for this reason?
OMG YAS JUST IN TIME FOR BED I LOVE YOU RANDY
Same for me! Perfection \o/
Oh I'm aware she's married but who wouldn't want to be complimented from all the hard work she put into this video and all of her others :)
Haha, yeah my comment was innocent, I promise. I'd been falling asleep listening to her cranial nerve exam video for days until this one last night.
''Hey its randy" RANDY ORTON RKOOOO OMG i DONT KNOW WHERE
It would be dope if you did a haircut roleplay, i love those lol.
barley actually already working on it 👍🏻
Really?? Haha awesome thank you, glad to hear :), i know its a little odd but the buzzing from electric razers is actually a good trigger for me, although I feel some might find them too loud.
Randy ASMR Perfect 👌🏻 those are some of my favorites as well, plus~I totally need a haircut!! 😘💨💋
Her: "I'm just gonna do it... Right"
Me: "Oh hell yes"
I member the first part but i was thinking you would the same roleplay you did but yeah it's still a nice video.
Love love love
I love you, keep like that

Randy ASMR Aaaahh, ok. Very cool, that has to be the most 'exotic' language I have ever heard of being taught in high school.
Yeees!!!!
awesome ❤️
In your last one you taught learn. Is it the same to say learning or is it different?
I love you!!!
my sister is deaf and when she "talks" with her friends it looks like naruto battle :D
asl is not used in Mexico. LSM is used in Mexico.
Hi Randy my name is Mike and I have subscribed to your channel I'm new here
Are those new ways to sign the letters because when i took a ASL class a couple of years ago I was never taught that. I'm not saying you're wrong or anything i'm just curious
camila martinez those are the right way lol?
Btw its 6:30 am in sweden right now but im still here lol
I'm curious, how similar are different sign languages? Is it easier to learn say LSM (Mexico) or DGS (Germany) if you know ASL already?
Great videos!
watisdatdennhier I would assume for a language u know like if u learn sl in English it's easier there learning it in Swahili
randy do yo know any deaf people
you have 16.000 subscribers now
watching a girl throw gang signs at night while whispering
jeremy hjpr gang shit
you are awesome i love you a lot RANDY
So are you fluent on SL or do you just learn the ones for the video
Biggie Cheese I took two years but it's been a while ha
Im stoned af and the fact than sign language isn't universal flashed me so hard because they have to learn new handmovements as well #NoAdvantages
