- I thoroughly regret writing this chorus the way that I did a couple years ago because it's extremely difficult to sing and it's not very flattering but this song still means so much to me. If you're being criticized or condemned as a mother I really hope that this helps encourage you. There are a lot of things that I am in life, but a bad mom is not one of them.

My baby is in the NICU due to being premature. I am now sober but the meconium tested positive for drugs. I'm doing everything I can for her not to get taken this song is inspiring. The song makes me cry and remember that I need to do everything I can to keep my baby

I am a grandmother going through the pain of having my daughters children taken from her, it doesn't only hurt her, it hurts me as well. My daughter might be fighting a battle of addiction, but she never ever did anything bad to have her kids taken from her. My daughter is only human with a huge heart.. and by not having her children is only making it harder for her to get clean. She hurts, I hurt. Life just doesn't make sense anymore.
Chanda your such an inspiration to all the Mothers out there who need extra support but also people that have addiction and past addictions. Also with those that have lost so many people to overdoses.... Keep doing your Thang girl!!! 👑
