I really appreciate this not just being "Mike Robertson!!!!111", I feel too many people link Costume exclusively to Mike and don't let him be his own, mysterious character. Good stuff.

Classified Costume is confirmed by the creator to have no inspiration from Mario Bros Asesino, and literally the only proof people have for FNF Costume being based off Mike is that they both use a knife, which is a really generic trait to add for an implied murderer like Classified Costume who had little material to pull from otherwise. Also, it would be really questionable for the devs to include a reference to a random creepypasta in a world dedicated to an unrelated series, without the original creator's permission, and when no other character in the mod references multiple unrelated characters at the same time. The proof for FNF Costume to have nothing to do with Mike is much stronger than the proof that it's based on him. Along with this, if he was intended to be a Mike rep somehow, literally all he has that isn't already in Classified Costume is using a knife, which would be a really lame representation of Mike considering he has his own unique design, cool lore moments, and brutal stuff he does, and it would be better to make stuff based on the version described on the creepypasta instead of hijacking FNF Costume, who's his own character. I think the proof points almost entirely to Costume and Mike being unrelated, and if they were related somehow, then FNF Costume is a bad representation for Mike, and they should be represented as their own separate characters instead of a weird fusion.
i get your point, but it's not like there is really anything to say about costume besides the whole "MIKE ROBERTSON" thing since nobody has bothered to give him some actual lore i mean, even in the sm64 classified, the series where he technically first appeared, he was just some abandoned plot point and was shown that one time in that one video, only to be never seen again until this mod came out, and with seemingly no other way to fill the hole in his character, most people just considered that costume = mike robertson from the creepypasta

It's fantastic how well you explained Costume's appearance in CLASSIFIED (the OG series). The screams during his part of the video being him just breaking into the player's house and brutally killing them is a chilling idea, Costume seeming downright gleeful at his evil and cruelty, proud of the fact he's never been seen, really sells that this is a deranged murderer, the fact that he's just that-a sadistic, arrogant monster with no redeeming qualities and nothing else-no name, no face, no remorse, really fits the unknown, mysterious vibe of Costume
Pros of V2 : The voice of Costume feels more accurate. The beat is awesome and feels impactful. The drum opening is very cool lol Cons of V2: Little shame of that V1 funky part did not make em.

Quite literally the only thing V1 does better is the "Let's a go", everything else is done much better. And the beat right after V2's "Let's a go" instantly makes this better
