Annielogue (creator of Classified and Costume) specifically said herself that Costume's name is not Mike Robertson and he is not linked to him in any way. Even if you make the claim that the mario's madness devs were referencing Mike, this is really unlikely since literally the only connection that isn't explicitly already part of Costume is them both using a knife, which is a really weak connection considering how generic of an idea that is and Costume already being implied to be some William Afton type character. There's absolutely nothing else linking him to Mike despite all the iconic things Mike does in his creepypasta that would be good to reference if the Mike thing was intended. There's also a lot of questions it would bring up if he was actually Mike (Like why he would be referenced at all in classified castle, why he was fused with Costume when no other character in the mod does that 'fuse 2 completely unrelated characters' thing, and why this was done without Annielogue's knowledge or permission.) Also, this is more of a personal take, but I think Mike and Costume are both cool characters on their own and fusing them takes away some of their cooler aspects (Mike's cool design, all of the funky stuff he does in the original creepypasta, and Costume's sheer mystery).

It also works surprisingly well for making classified eerier as like, whilst the stanley stuff is resolved entirely in the series, costume is not, so it leaves this slight lack of resolve that doesn't feel like a cop-out, but lets you wonder what else is going on in the universe of series. So yeah, I think costume is neat.
This entire instrumental is just an extended version of a weird static noise with opera chucked in,=. Also the first and second part fit so seamlessly, unlike with vocals.

up until 0:51 and starting from 1:40 until finish, the instrumental sounds like what i'd expect from costume and his song's atmosphere. i wonder how 0:52-1:39 would sound with V2's vocals if it were to be replaced with V1's instrumental. if i were to guess, probably better, as V2's atmosphere falls short compared to V1. AisakaMyth made a great mix which covers up the too-vibey instrumental with strong vocals. could someone experienced with music try this?
now that i think about it, and i think kenny could try playing around with this - as much as V1 was also a rave for the most part, the instrumental had a darker sound to it. perhaps this instrumental could still be changed a little to suit (no pun intended) V1's mystique. not to mention 1:12 of V1 which goes much harder compared to this one's "mario time."

Sí es verdad eso de que van a sacar un hotfix actualizando The End V1 por la V2 en el mod, espero que la V1 pase a estar en el Legacy Mode del replay, The End V1 es demasiado bueno como para simplemente barrerlo bajo la alfombra y fingir que nunca existió. Now that Kenny has released a V2, The End is more likely to gain more attention
