Exelente tu video, ahora q tienen el otro motor de la Dr 350 a fuera seria de mucha ayuda y muy explicativo q lo desarmen completo y explicando paso por paso como armarlo nuevamente hasta el mas minimo detalle, eso seria de muchisima ayuda en la comunidad para q algunas personas se animen a hacerlo. Great video. I'm working on a similar conversion but some repair work still needed. Do you know if the mounting a DR350S stator (kick version) will work with the SE flywheel? maybe it would eliminate the need for CDI adaption. thanks
Greeting from Slovakia. I am just curious if you can answer me one question. Do you know if the 1992-1994 S and 1998 SE frames are same? Because I have found really nice 1998 SE but it is not street legal because has no necessary documents and also found older but street legal 1992 S. So I have crazy idea to buy both of them, use S frame with VIN and documents and SE components to assemble one bike for me and use SE frame and rest of the S parts to assemble second motorcycle and sell it.
As you see you can swap engine without any problems :) I know only one, small difference between S/SE: battery box have different holders welded to frame, there is also additional holder welded to frame to hold starter relay. I think you should be able to make it :)

I bought a 1997 Suzuki dr350se and it came to my knowledge it was missing the ECU so I ordered one plug it in and now she turns over with start button but still no spark than I ordered a new stator and pickup from Rick's Motorsports iam stumbled upon this dr350se do you think it's my ECU how to see what ECU comes with the bike it never came with the ECU
I'm in the middle of the wiring portion on this swap right now. I have two black connectors from the SE (crank position sensors?) and only one black connector on the S brain box. I'm not getting fire at the plug.
As far as I remember: Dirt model CDI has 2 connectors: -(2pin or 4pin) for crank position sensor/sensors (from the engine) -(3pin) for kill switch, spark plug coil DR350S/SE model CDI has 3 connectors: -(2pin or 4pin) for crank position sensor/sensors (from the engine) -(3pin) for kill switch, spark plug coil -(4pin) for side stand switch , neutral switch, dashboard lamps
I have a 1991 dr350s and it starts fine sounds fine but when i put it in gear it dies anyone know how to help and I cant find the kickstand switch its gone

@@DawidMartasMotoAdventures My motor had 4 pin and my CDI 2 pin connectors. I swapped the pins into a 2 pin connector and it has good spark now. 👍
