this is one of those albums that was with you for a long time
One of the best albums I have heard in my entire life. Everything on this album is pure ingenuity, I have a suggestion for you to check out Wilderun - Veil of Imagination

This is my favorite album of all time. It'll definitely grow on you as you delve deeper into the music and the story, with all of the repeating motifs and ideas. You should check out Heavy Blog Is Heavy's 2 part analysis of the album, it's the most accurate one I've found. Once you do understand the story, it's one of those albums where you hop on a treadmill, zone out, let the music encapsulate you, and watch as the story plays before your eyes.
Btw, it's called Castle In The Sky Part 2 because it is indeed related to Kow Otani's Castle In The Sky. The first one is probably set in the same world, with similar lyrics and metaphors, but as it is with the entire story, it's not confirmed (And unfortunately, probably never will be, considering the recent news about the vocalist Gareth Mason facing "serious criminal charges")
I thought Kow Otani's Castle in the Sky was just a big Shadow of the Colossus reference lol, not sure tho, haven't actually played that game myself unfortunately
@@MetodpGaming It is but the two songs are definitely related in some way. Who knows, maybe the entire album is set in the Shadow of the Colossus universe. Haven't played the game too so I've no idea

It's one of my favorite albums of all time and I also think it is not anything impressive musically, especially in the first half . It's really the story and how it's told through the vocals that lifts it to its classic status.
Yeah after a few more listens since this original recording, I agree. It's great as a full experience
Love this album. Picked it up on vinyl before these guys went through their controversy with their vocalist. Probably won't get another album from these boys :(
The guitarist and drummer plan on doing stuff in the future but last I heard the vocalist was arrested at the end of last year, reason why wasn't released.
I think remember the band mentioning that the album was tuned to A= 432hz
