So, basically, we have just seen how you go to an alternate universe, an Ultra-Beast calls another UB, they fornicate and create a new baby(try to explain that omitted scene better if you DISAGREE), which also is a Legendary Pokémon even worse than Caterpie, all of that just to get a second game legendary you already had. I call that TAPU-BULUSHIT.

the fact that it's an exact copy does not alter that
you can not legitimately copy pokemon in the game nor can you obtain others via reset
a clone under no circumstance is legit
they are legal, but not legitimate
and using glitches to copy doesn't make it legit (as glitches are problems in the coding that you are exploiting..and the results weren't supposed to exist at all..often doing so breaks the rules and can get the ds bricked if they feel like anyway)
When you clone both are the same pokemon with the same id.you successfully traded and not traded it.

now that you think about it, it make sense why it evolves into the legendary you already have, (in my game)you get the first one from the alter of sun so it becomes the Pokemon of the sun and the second one comes the lake of sun in the alternet dimension.

Cosmog is actually an ultra beast, but it could be classified as a legendary pokemon due to its evolution line.
AlyMation Buzzwole looks sick, that being said, I think they do look a bit otherworldly and that is because they are from another universe so there are different elements that change the way things evolved and caused them to look the way they do. I also think the devs really tried to emphasize the whole alien thing so they made them really exotic looking.

It's also good to note that you can't get into the portal unless you have your versions exclusive legendary (Lunala for Moon and Solgaleo for Sun). People are pointing out that you can have either or in your party and thats not entirely true. Yes they can get you through the portal but the cutscene won't play if you don't have your legendary exclusive in your party. Hope this helps.

Cosmog is pre-evolution of Solgaleo and Lunaala depending on which version you play. Another interesting thing to note is unlike other games the other games Legend does not exist in that game's world meaning if you play Moon Solgaleo it does not exist the character going through that Wormhole was crossing Dimensions to the other games universe. All this event does is basically make another Cosmog that will evolve into the game's legendary which lets you have 2 or alternatively you traded to the other game of all that and then trade it back and have both legendaries native to the same game.
So are Solgaleo and Lunaala legendaries, or pseudos?

To traverse the portal you need either lunala or sogaleo in your party. if you have lunala you can enter the portal only in the morning and the opposite is true for sogaleo. If you have both you can transverse whenever time.

does anyone notice why cosmog has splash? its because during one part of the game, i think it was before we went into the dimensional lab or whatever it was called, lillie was "acting" like you, and says "Cosmog use splash!" or it probably has splash for no reason

Well, yeah technically they're genderless. But solgaleo is obviously designed as a male lion, and lunala has a feminine name and design. Sol and luna are gendered nouns of latin origin. In many cultures the sun is masculine and the moon is feminine, so that's just what they are.
"Sexy time" is obviously not what happened right there though. More like two dimensions bleeding into each other or something.
Sun's pokedex entry for Lunala - It is said to be a female evolution of Cosmog. When its third eye activates, away it flies to another world.
Moon's pokedex entry for Solgaleo - This Pokémon is said to be a male evolution of Cosmog. At the activation of its third eye, it departs for another world.

I'm playing Moon, and I've tried going at night, at day, at dusk AND dawn, and nothing has worked. What EXACT time do I have to go? Or is there some other requirement other than being champion?
Just need your legendary in your party as far as i'm aware, got mine around 10/11pm. Don't manually change your DS time btw or it get locked for 24 hours ^_^

TheSaltyNintendonerd The pokemontrades subreddit may help you. It's much better since you can get back your Cosmoem as the evolved legendary ( Keeping the nature, etc ). Stuff from the GTS are usually with wrong natures, so avoid that for legendaries.

Actually you can get in anytime as long as you have your legendary Lunala/Solgaleo with you. Just only at night in Sun and at the day time in moon.

Master Zexus game freak didnt say it themselves, but according to the leakers back then, they said you can. on top of that, UB-04 is also version exclusive, which we recently found out.
Master Zexus nevermind, no version exclusives can be found in the other version. lycanroc still evolves into your version form, passimian exists in sun only, orangoru in moon only. the other dimension exists for different time zones and a second cosmog, which becomes a second version of your mascot.
