Actually.. if you walk through the fence just below the lady that gives you the eggs, summon your Tauros in there and simply run circles inside it, you'll hatch your eggs AND you see right away when she has another egg for you.
FFs Arekkz, that's the long way, the small paddock literally on the same map piece as the girl with the miltank, is a small square, it's enough space to just go in, charge up the tauros and just circle the circle pad while keeping her in view, even quicker with no running up and down, plus you can keep her in sight for when her arms cross you can just stop and get another egg
Arekkz Gaming go into the pin below the nursery. then hop on your pokmon and charge in circles. goes way faster and you can see when she crosses her arms.
Hang on, this isn't 100% accurate. Depending on the type of pokemon you're trying to hatch, the steps you need to hatch it can vary pretty significantly. I'm gonna guess Salandit has a relatively low hatch rate, but something like a Beldum or other rare/powerful pokemon can take longer than showed in this video. Your information isn't completely inaccurate, The flame body tip is invaluable if you breed alot, but it is slightly misleading. Though I do realize this type of video probably isn't for me; the kind of person who has spent hundreds of hours JUST hatching eggs. I was hoping for some new sun/moon original information though. (Not trying to discourage Arekkz! Keep on making Pokemon videos duder!)
Walk into the small pen with the hay bales just below the Nursery girl and then get on Tauros. Then just run and spin around until your eggs hatch/your pokemon have eggs.
Yeah I keep seeing people running out and about as Tauros but I like this method much better. Day care woman is even in view, you can tell the moment an egg is ready.
i just go next to the nursery (not in the pen thing.. right beside it on the left) and just go in circles... still see the lady, does the same thing and dont have to get off and on tauros a bunch xD
theres a much faster way to do this. Just empty out your team except for the pokemon that knows flame body run in circles on Tauros right next to her, wait for her to fold her arms (10 seconds) pick it up, run in circles again, pick it up an egg, run in circles again pick it up. with this method by the time you fill the last slot with an egg the first one you picked up will hatch. now when you pick up the next egg switch the egg with the one that just hatched and have the lady put the newly hatched pokemon in the box so now you wont have to waste time going back to the machine to switch out pokemon when you want to have an egg take its place
Fraydizs actually there is one more better way. Get your egg from her then go in that little fenced in box right below her, hop on Tauros, and just just run in one place moving your circle pad slowly in a circular motion. All the steps still count, and its the fastest way to get more eggs.
stupidluvdisc sorry but I heavily Disagree with that Statement. As someone who Masuda Bred many shinies in XY I prefer Masuda in that game as you can simply hold Left and right on the D-Pad and its A lot less effort
Kloe Rogers Yes that would be the logical way. but see he couldn't make a 5 min vid on that lol. plus that just takes wayyyyy to much brain power to figure out. I mean it is literally right on screen and you can see the chick with the eggs as well but no. seriously anyone who plays pokemon should have found a decent way to hatch by day one or two this video is pointless
Another useful tip for eggs is that if you, for some reason, have a bunch of eggs stacked up and you don't feel like manually hatching them. You can drop them in the Poke Pelago hot springs and that'll end up hatching them for you, 18 at a time, if you fully upgrade it. I mean, probably not as fast as the Tauros grind, but it's good for people who have a bunch of eggs, but need to do real life things for awhile, like eat, sleep, work, or school.
This guy doesn't know about the pen lol. But I didn't know about Flame Body so... with our info combined, we get 30 second eggs. Incidently, 30 Second Eggs was the name of my failed restaurant.
2r3tard3d Lol yea. but assuming and hoping this vid was made for first time pokemon players it's decent at best but still a pointless vid. because in gen 3 I figured shit out myself now ppl just search this crap on utube and give it positive feedback. like this can only help a 5 y/o or ppl with 1/4 of their brain functioning. it's sad this was in my recommended. I question things now. lol and ppl want harder pokemon without hand holding? lol yea right. they should just make a casual/veteran feature when u start the game. after seeing this vid and if you disn't know how to hatch an egg quickly but bitch about pokemon being too easy now I'm sorry but if they removed the hand holding you would be lost. I just can't get over the fact that this vid was made, mostly positive feedback, and ppl can't just look around for a second and make their own egg route. I swear ppl are zombies
Small note: The example Arekkz used was a 5140 egg, meaning it is relatively low, yet average for that type of hatching speed. The bigger that number, the longer it would take to hatch, like Eevee, who has an egg number of 9252 aka about twice as long.
1. keep only the flame body user in your party (flame body essentially cuts hatch time in half) 2. every egg that hatches reduces the egg cycle of the other eggs by 1 whole egg cycle (256 steps); unsure if flame body makes this 2 egg cycles 3. hatch some eggs in less than a minute because of reduced egg cycles from above steps you're welcome
Bonus tip: To fix the B-button so you can hatch things with one hand, just grab a fairly decently-sized clothespin, maybe put some fabric around the edges of the 3DS or glue some felt to the clothespin to avoid scratching your 3DS, and clamp it over the B-button. Makes the whole thing a lot more comfortable. Also, while hatching in that little corner thing, go round as slow as you can while still keeping up the dash - took me a while to get that figured out. I was super bummed about the lack of a good afk hatching spot at first, but egg hatching has actually never been this quick and simple.
Why not use Tauros in the small fenced area in front of the nursery? Just move your circle pad in circles until the egg hatches and you can always see when another egg is ready.
I would try what Zinogrez is saying. You have to walk into the box without Tauros as it will not fit in the gap, but once you are in summon him, press B and go in circles (well the box is so small you will actually be twisting on the spot). Now the very interesting thing is you can move your circle pad very slowly and tauros will still be able to run on the spot.
You could also hold up on a certain path in the battle resort in ORAS and it ends up being a straight line. You'll bump into obstacles, but by the time you do, the camera turns and you go up from the direction the camera is facing.
You don't have to spin the circle pad like on Mario Party and make blisters on your palms XD While you're rushing, as long as you're slowly circling, Tauros will still be rushing and the steps will count. I managed to hatch 10 eggs in less than 10 minutes.
Oooooor you could go in the small enclosure under the lady that gives you eggs, ride on Tauros and do circles with it until your egg hatches. It works better than running back and forth and you can easily see when the lady is crossing her arms. Also, in post-game, you can get the "item that makes it easier for Pokémon to have eggs" by beating the Game Freak guy in the building somewhere in the city just South of the Pokémon nursery.
way easier way, just go in to the gap in the fence right in front of her, summon Tauros while inside the the fenced area, and then run while trapped in that box and rotate the stick in a slow circle. Saves a bunch of time on loading screens and is way less intensive. You can with practice watch youtube videos while doing this.
Wow! Let me get this straight. You say I should run back and forth and the egg will hatch? You also say that Tauros is faster than walking? I think I need a pen to write down this new age strategy. Makes me want to go back to old generation games and see if running back and forth hatches eggs. Maybe with a bike or something???
13eetle13omber Lmao was looking for this sort of comment. Idk why people feel the need to make a new guide for this sort of thing considering there would obviously be one for past gens already, plus 20 other pokemon youtubers making the same guide. Unless there was actually a different method than flame body + move fast that everyone should already know by now.
SuperBlueboy2010 But the methods have not changed, so the wikis and such are always there. Considering that new players are bound to be young, I have no doubt that they won't be hatching eggs anyways. Even if very few people may need it, that's still no excuse for so many channels to make a guide on the same thing, especially such a simple and already known thing.
SuperBlueboy2010 If there's no new method, than there is no reason for a bunch of new videos on it. I would assume these vids are mostly getting views because of all the videos on it anyway, it only makes people assume that there will be something new to learn when there really isn't. There are plenty of actually new things to talk about this gen, so I doubt a video on old news is entirely necessary.
Daniel Jimenez you can actually use the small enclosed space that's right in front of the nursery to hatch eggs. just go in there then hop on tauros and rotate the control stick. tauros is too big to go through the fence so you won't leave until you get off tauros. and you can still see the nursery lady to see when she folds her arms
So use "What" to run in a Circle?? Pokemon X and Y were the Easiest games to Hatch eggs! Pokemon with flame body + the Effiel Tower area in the main Main City+ a Dime or Penny jammed under the Cpad = ur Character Biking endlessly circling the Tower XD
thetotalshit13 as soon as you leave the nursery, go directly South. there is a small fenced area right in front of the nursery. go in there and hop on tauros and rotate the Control Stick.
thetotalshit13 Actually, ORAS was better because you didn't need to fly to the day care all the time. The Day Care was right in front of the infinite loop in the Battle Resort.
Mega Memes That's obvious, but your idea that they will hatch faster is stupid for breeders because it requires you to collect five different eggs at five points in time, basically ruining your efficiency.
Matthew K. Once you have five eggs though then it'll be just like this video where you deposit a hatched Pokemon and pick up a new egg, doesn't really affect efficiency
there a better way to do this if you guys pause the video @ 2:13 you should see a tiny space opposite the nursery girl and a milktank go in there and hop on tauros and you can run in circle there
Vivid Abstract It will only damage your circle-pad if you are flicking it around really hard. The pad is designed to have physical limits, so you can't damage the switch (and you aren't going to break the plastic)
it's alright, but nothing can beat ORAS way on the Battle Resort - you literally stand right in front of the kid and push either left or right (doesn't matter which), when you can't go in that direction any more you push up, and just hold it the kid turns around if he has an egg for you, so you stop, talk to him, and continue what you were doing - i did 5 at a time doing this when IV breeding
the fuck kind of tip is that? How else was I gunna hatch the egg? I assumed this video would be more than "yeah just walk up and down like you did in every other pokemon game"
Ever noticed the little crack inside the fence just south of the egg-Lady? you can go in there and then ride tauros round and round and round. Not only does it provide with enough steps to quickly hatch an egg, you will also be able to see the egg-lady and determine whether she has an egg ready to be hatched
Wow, I wish you'd take the time to actually look things up before you throw up bad information on the internet. Running up and down the road is slow, running around in front of her or within the fences just below her is much quicker, also, different Pokemon have different hatch times, also it's quicker to pick up eggs whilst you are running around because in this game she sends them straight to your PC, it has been proven to be faster. Just give up on Poke-tips, you are almost always wrong. It takes 5 seconds to go to a more credible source.
+Lumify | Gil there is a pen south of the nursery. If you go to it there is a gap in the fence. I personally think the way show in the video is better.
Aw man, i came here expecting some newly discovered technique but this is just what I and plenty of other breeders have been doing for generations. The whole video is basically using flame body, and leaving the pokemon in the nursery for a continouous stream of eggs. This is however a very nice and well presented video for those who are completely unfamiliar with breeding tips, so ill leave a like.
SolracDude Well you'll do it wrong if you don't have flame body (or an ability with a similar effect), and then you'll come back to the video whining about him lying and using click bait.
Matthew K. yeah but he could have explained all that much faster, it was fluff to make the video longer, because the youtube system likes longer videos. Plus this "trick" is just, have this ability and go up and down. That's not a trick, that's something anyone who breeds (i.e. hatches eggs) already knows or could figure out in a minute.
SolracDude He never said it was a "trick". He said he would do something and delivered it, despite what you may think. If he needs to explain thing to accomplish said thing, he is free to do so, and if a viewer wasn't very good at breeding or is just a starting to breed, this video is perfectly acceptable, even if it is redundant. Also if he wanted this video to be long he could have stretched it out much longer than this. You realize that right?
Very informative video but I do have some small criticisms. First, not all eggs will hatch at the same rate. Generally pseudo legendaries and others such pokemon will take more steps to hatch, no matter the method. Also, I personally use the squared in fence area just below the nursery. Just walk in the little area and hop on Tauros once you have the space, hold B and spin the Circle Pad in a circle. The steps do register, and you can immediately see if she has another egg waiting. But other than those two points, love the video and I hope it helps those wanting to get into breeding
أنا مجرفة yeah it's super tiny so normally your tauros can't even go through the gate , but once you're in , just summon your tauros , press B andspin in circles for one or two minutes . It'll count as if you were running continuously .
Also, you can get an oval charm if you defeat the guy in the Game Freak office in Heahea City. This increases the chance that an egg will be produced, speeding up the breeding process even more.
I keep seeing people talk about things that work better, but I haven't seen anyone mention the super easy one, where you just ram Tauros' face into the daycare. lmao
Ya know, it's way faster to use Tauros in the small pen just south of the lady who gives you eggs, and run in circles? Then you see the second she has a new egg available, and it's much faster in general than running up and down the road to hatch.
that's not true lol, you could be spinning the joy stick, quick or slow, so the times that you would be facing the hay would be drastically different. And staying out of the pen and running circles besides her is faster because you do not have to get off of your mount to collect the egg.
See that little fence across from the hatchery? Walk in there, then hop on Taurus, then go in circles! Very easy, but so is this method- found the fence one out myself. Please give it a try and tell me if it works for you! :^)
Instead of running up and down through that loading screen you can walk into the small fenced-in area under the sister that gives you the eggs. Then you mount up on Tauros, and just around in a circle because it won't let you leave on a mount. You can get the steps in really fast that way.
PatVX1 I agree. this was on recommended lol what a joke. like you said no offense but there are 3 ways I know of that are even faster/better and those were posted on the 21st lol. besides idgaf I just go down the trail onto the street and back up again even If it takes slightly longer that's just a common sense thing on day one like in ruby or sapphire og. the daycare near mauville just ride a mach bike left and right in a straight line ppl should pick up on it just by playing a few mins. it's sad some ppl need a "guide" to hatch eggs faster. especially ppl in there 20s like seriously lol
Matthew K. yea lol I did. you could say my comment was redundant as well. but fact is this video was still is pointless. even misleading for new players.
Matthew K. Yea I agree. he never really lied or anything. I was more surprised with this being in recommended and it was about hatching eggs in the new pokemon. I suppose there is a demographic for everything but i, personally, was shocked.
By the way, you can ride in a circle in between the fence edge and patch of grass next to the red truck where the nursery girl stands. Hatches eggs slightly faster and her animation updates in real-time, allowing for even smoother egg hatching
_PRoHacker00 _ I agree waiting sucks but you can't use 3rd party things to put pokemon in your game at all or its not legitament if you want to use it for fun that's fine but if he wants his ditto to breed for competition it's cheating
Also, it's now very easy to get the oval charm (defeat the trainer in the gamefreak office after becoming champion), that will ensure that there's an egg ready for pickup once the one you're carrying hatches.
Did game freak decrease the required steps to hatch eggs? I wonder if that's because there are no O-Powers in this one, haha. Oras was pretty easy to hatch eggs in bulk since you ran circles around the daycare on the battle spot island, you could run around and collect multiple eggs while simultaneously hatching them in concurrent with your egg hatching O-Power. Also, instead of using the Torus, I'd rather use the item finder Pokémon so I don't have to hold the B key down, haha.
azaefe yeah, hatching Dragon Pokémon or a snorlax took forever without the O-Power. Can't wait to transfer all my dittos though. I have two dittos that both have 4 perfect IVs that cover the other's missing IVs. Plus I have dittos for ever nature. Can't wait to start that competing breeding again.
You might also want an oval charm or whatever it’s called. I’ve forgotten at what part of the game you get it but I think it’s after the elite four. It speeds up the time of an egg appearing, and if your using Usum you might want to try stack up on Roto hatches. Speeds up the hatching progress.
Terrible advice I'm sorry but jeez dude don't you see that open space in the enclosed area just below the nursery house? You walk in the enclosed area and hop on Taurus and do 360s to hatch eggs.
Anthony Farchione Your circle-pad is that flimsy? Maybe this is just because I'm used to playing the New 3ds, but I don't remember the 3ds' circle-pad being bad enough to break from decent-paced circular motions.
If you go into the fence area outside of the breeders house, you can continually run around in circles on Toros. I would say it's a little faster. You can grab eggs without running into the building too.
this al all info any pokemon player shoudl already know. he doesn teven tell you about the infinite Loop fo running inside of the fence RIGHT INFRONT OF THE DAYCARE. clickbait content is clickbait
firesflame221 THATS WHAT IM SAYING lol this was in recommended and I'm literally shocked ppl need a guide to hatch an egg. it's common sense day one shit. all you have to do is look around. instead ppl look it up smh. and ppl want harder pokemon games lol. they wouldn't be able to even comprehend something like gen 1 remade without the hand holding. and even that was still a child's game. sorry just can't get over this. and it gets mostly positive feedback. I just don't get it like did it help 5 year olds or ppl without 3/4s of their brain functioning lol prayers
you also have to consider what type of pokemon youre breeding when generalizing the time it takes to hatch an egg, a pokemon like dratini will take almost 4 times as many steps as, say, a magikarp would
60 seconds assuming the Pokemon takes 5,120 steps or less and it's only one egg, and you have a Pokemon with Flame Body or Magma Armor in your party. A Pokemon like Eevee takes about 1:30 Minutes assuming it's one egg since Eevee takes 8,900 steps to hatch, which is considerably more than most Pokemon. A batch takes about 5 minutes due to the Egg hatching animations taking about 30 seconds and the 15 seconds you waste picking one up.
This is by far the slowest method I've ever seen so far XD Since when does anyone ever hatch literally one egg at a time when the goal is to hatch a large amount...
Spending most of my time in Pokemon games breeding Pokemon, I thought this video would actually tell me something that hasn't been in Pokemon since Gen 2... I was sorely disappointed.
I'm hatching for a shiny Vulpix and it doesn't take long to hatch them. I'd recommend using Tauros _vertically_ down the Routes on Paniola Ranch instead of circling in the pen near the Nursery. It might take a *little* bit longer, but it doesn't damage the circle pad.
Theres a way better way, under the Lady with the miltank there is a Little Square fence area. you can actually go into it and get onto your tauros and if you keep running in circles and keeping b pressed, this runnig will be counted as steps although your at 1 Spot. if you See the Lady Cross her Arms, that means she has another egg ready for you. Hope this helped, thanks for reading
just go into that little fenced off area in front of her with taurus and charge while moving the joy stick in circles so you can see her cross her arms
Something useful that he didn't mention is that after you become champion if you battle the Game Freak guy and win he'll give you the Oval Stone which permanently makes your egg hatch time smaller.
Actually.. if you walk through the fence just below the lady that gives you the eggs, summon your Tauros in there and simply run circles inside it, you'll hatch your eggs AND you see right away when she has another egg for you.
I was blown away when I discovered this
It's awesome! I wonder if Gamefreak did that on purpose!
Nushia Oh wow, thanks for that!
it doesnt hatch your egg i tried it
Joecool nope lol works fine try again :)
I miss the runabout in lumiose city in X/Y for hatching eggs. I can just leave my character riding the bike in circles
J.R. Or the battle resort in ORAS
Or the Battle Subway in BW(2)....kind of
Well its one place in Sun and Moon but its slow but you can afk it
J.R., what about ORAS, there was an afk egg hatching trick right next to the Pokemon nursery
true haha I used to put a cup of coffee on the circle pad and let her ride the bycicle XD
That poor tuaros 😂😂😭
Destined to run in circles for all of eternity
Its exercise
FFs Arekkz, that's the long way, the small paddock literally on the same map piece as the girl with the miltank, is a small square, it's enough space to just go in, charge up the tauros and just circle the circle pad while keeping her in view, even quicker with no running up and down, plus you can keep her in sight for when her arms cross you can just stop and get another egg
zeriul09 yeah I saw that on verlisify's video
Louis Cimmino can you link me to that video please?
Bongchoy just search verlisify breeding guide. It has a shiny rowlet on the picture along with a female character
+Louis Cimmino screw verlisify that hypocite
+Louis Cimmino dont waste your time with that idiot
Time to breed the crap outta my eevee
+TheJAGOMES03 good luck!
Arekkz Gaming go into the pin below the nursery. then hop on your pokmon and charge in circles. goes way faster and you can see when she crosses her arms.
TheJAGOMES03 Same but for my rowlet and greninja to trade with a variety of other poke
I did this with Eevee and now I have 5 banks full of eevees and got no shiney in the progress. Sad times
why do you have 5 banks full? are you planning to trade or something?
Hang on, this isn't 100% accurate. Depending on the type of pokemon you're trying to hatch, the steps you need to hatch it can vary pretty significantly. vikingdeath1 I agree with u. He give ppl false info
vikingdeath1 I have never taken more the a min to hatch a pokemon so it wasn't false. especially if you use the pen just below the nursery.
Just add roto hatch in the Ultra games! (
Walk into the small pen with the hay bales just below the Nursery girl and then get on Tauros. Then just run and spin around until your eggs hatch/your pokemon have eggs.
Yeah I keep seeing people running out and about as Tauros but I like this method much better. Day care woman is even in view, you can tell the moment an egg is ready.
Toey Plays that will wear down your circle pad.
i just go next to the nursery (not in the pen thing.. right beside it on the left) and just go in circles... still see the lady, does the same thing and dont have to get off and on tauros a bunch xD
You don't need to spin quickly you can just slowly ride it along and tauros will keep running as long as you don't keep it still
It can damage the circle pad. I rather run vertically down the routes to hatch.
theres a much faster way to do this.

Fraydizs Wow! Thanks a lot! Literally it works
(Do this in the Ultra versions, but with Roto Hatch. They will hatch in almost two-4 trips! )
So basically do what we have always done in other games. The process is just faster in this gen.
stupidluvdisc yeah basically. Lol
stupidluvdisc exactly it's the bike method but with tauros.
stupidluvdisc well in aplha sapphire we can do the dime method
stupidluvdisc sorry but I heavily Disagree with that Statement. As someone who Masuda Bred many shinies in XY I prefer Masuda in that game as you can simply hold Left and right on the D-Pad and its A lot less effort
The better solution would be to go into the small fenced area with Tauros and running in circles tbh
Kloe Rogers yeah that's what I do :)
Beat me to the comment
Bro you just took egg hatching to a whole new level
+Kloe Rogers Achkchually
Another useful tip for eggs is that if you, for some reason, have a bunch of eggs stacked up and you don't feel like manually hatching them. You can drop them in the Poke Pelago hot springs and that'll end up hatching them for you, 18 at a time, if you fully upgrade it. Puppy I did that for the Pokemon egg leftovers that I am too lazy to hatch. Had about 23 leftovers lol.
This guy doesn't know about the pen lol. But I didn't know about Flame Body so... with our info combined, we get 30 second eggs.
Incidently, 30 Second Eggs was the name of my failed restaurant.
Commander_Ninja The pen is really physically tiring in my opinion and is bad for your circle pad too. But if it works for you, go ahead
DJFalcon Physically tiring? That might say more about you. I do agree that it might be bad for the circlepad, I don't want to do it too much.
Flame Body has been available since generation 3; you had over a decade to learn about this method. O.o
2r3tard3d I am not a smart man.
Can you teach me 60 second eggs in real life?
In real life, it takes exactly 3 minutes to perfectly poach an egg! :)
Arekkz Gaming just go in gap opposite daycare it's quicker
+Arekkz Gaming can you stack flame body
Shamus Haughey No.
Rainbowdasherr Artist I could fart on him and then you would gain the ability flame body
even more quick method:
just spin tauros in circles in that small squared off gate area in front of the lady and watch for her folding her arms.
you can use the little space in the fance to ride tauros and its way easier
There is a fence in the shape of a square right in front of the daycare, hop in Taurus once your in there, and spin In circles and it counts as steps
And to don't move at all because you get stuck in the one spot and Tauros is too big for the gap in the fence
jason jatzlau if you hold down B you don't have to move the circle pad as much
Best of all it takes about 30-45 seconds to hatch that egg with the fence method...I do it often.
jeremy lacasse I do that every time
1. keep only the flame body user in your party (flame body essentially cuts hatch time in half)
2. every egg that hatches reduces the egg cycle of the other eggs by 1 whole egg cycle (256 steps); unsure if flame body makes this 2 egg cycles
3. hatch some eggs in less than a minute because of reduced egg cycles from above steps
you're welcome
interesting
Oscar E Thx dude
Oscar E
I prefer running in straight lines as opposed to in cricles - less wear on the circle pad, but that would work too!
Arekkz Gaming In Kalos, Lumois city centre has a loop where you can hold one direction and run forever making things very convenient.
You don't have to spin the circle pad like on Mario Party and make blisters on your palms XD
While you're rushing, as long as you're slowly circling, Tauros will still be rushing and the steps will count.
Roi Pharamp yeah, I thought this was what he was going to say everything in this video is pretty uselessness it's so obvious
Juan_dsr yeah there is 0 new information here, flame body and magma armor have been in the games for ages
Good lord. The first 3 minutes of the video could have easily been covered in 1 minute.
way easier way, just go in to the gap in the fence right in front of her, summon Tauros while inside the the fenced area, and then run while trapped in that box and rotate the stick in a slow circle.
Saves a bunch of time on loading screens and is way less intensive.
You can with practice watch youtube videos while doing this.
and break my circle pad again? no thanks.
Do you know what else could be under 60 seconds?
This video.
😂
Unless there was actually a different method than flame body + move fast that everyone should already know by now.
john biff you think there's no new people having this as there first Pokemon game?
SuperBlueboy2010 But the methods have not changed, so the wikis and such are always there. Considering that new players are bound to be young, I have no doubt that they won't be hatching eggs anyways. Even if very few people may need it, that's still no excuse for so many channels to make a guide on the same thing, especially such a simple and already known thing.
john biff you can't expect someone to know it's the same
SuperBlueboy2010 If there's no new method, than there is no reason for a bunch of new videos on it. I would assume these vids are mostly getting views because of all the videos on it anyway, it only makes people assume that there will be something new to learn when there really isn't. There are plenty of actually new things to talk about this gen, so I doubt a video on old news is entirely necessary.
Great advice for when I start playing competitively in sun and moon
arrekz gaming again with more great tips👏👍
P
Thanks, I was having trouble figuring out a good way to hatch eggs
Lol, this guy says keep hatching one egg at a time. Just have a Magby or Fletchinder and 5 eggs and you'll hatch the eggs at a faster rate.
Lupus & Arc You didn't read my comment at all.
Matthew K. I'm failing to understand how I misinterpreted it. Please could you explain so I might understand?
Lupus & Arc You have to wait and not hatch four eggs to have a party of 5 eggs, which you can do, but it wastes time.
there a better way to do this if you guys pause the video @ 2:13 you should see a tiny space opposite the nursery girl and a milktank go in there and hop on tauros and you can run in circle there
jop liamsuwan Don't tell people that lol. It's going to damage your circle pad over time.
Vivid Abstract It will only damage your circle-pad if you are flicking it around really hard. The pad is designed to have physical limits, so you can't damage the switch (and you aren't going to break the plastic)
Nicholas Woo
Smash Bros for 3DS is going to mess up the pad?
Soup-Bowl Nathan T it would be more likely to break it than pokemon. But it still would be unlikely to break.
Nicholas Woo thanks
You can also go inside that little fence and just spin like crazy
Gonna miss lumiose city and sticking a penny under my circle pad
Clayton Comrie same and the battle resort in ORAS
You could also go inside the little fence thing and run in circles with tauros, that also works
this is the prototypical method
I just wish the egg cutscene took less than 60 seconds.
you know u can go into the little barn thingy below her and go on toros then just run in a circle right?
it's alright, but nothing can beat ORAS way on the Battle Resort - you literally stand right in front of the kid and push either left or right (doesn't matter which), when you can't go in that direction any more you push up, and just hold it
the kid turns around if he has an egg for you, so you stop, talk to him, and continue what you were doing - i did 5 at a time doing this when IV breeding
the fuck kind of tip is that? How else was I gunna hatch the egg? I assumed this video would be more than "yeah just walk up and down like you did in every other pokemon game"
Well it is for people who didn't know that the ability flame body makes hatching way faster
Magma Armor works too.
Ever noticed the little crack inside the fence just south of the egg-Lady? you can go in there and then ride tauros round and round and round. Not only does it provide with enough steps to quickly hatch an egg, you will also be able to see the egg-lady and determine whether she has an egg ready to be hatched
that is longer than 60 seconds. nice misleading title...
Not a genwunner are you?
RmxPlaysPC it took him 68 and it would take even less for pokemon with lower base steps
F.N.E Editor 68 seconds is longer than 60 seconds.
***** 68 rounds to 70. basic maths.
i94Rules read the title again.
How to hatch eggs! Run.
Welcome to 6 gens ago.
Do you mean 4 gens ago? Because there were no eggs in gen 1 and no running mechanic in gen 2. You could run in gen 3 though.
Snivy Servine Lolololo, Turn Down for What
I didn't wanna do all that so I just ran in circles and it hatched.
easier method is go into the fence by the day care and get on tarous and run in circles
What fence?
+Lumify | Gil there is a pen south of the nursery. If you go to it there is a gap in the fence. I personally think the way show in the video is better.
Thank you! This is very helpful as I’m grinding for a Bagon with Dragon Dance :)
this is how I got my shiny inciniroar
+Litsfa :O Nice! Considering trying to get one of those myself!
Arekkz Gaming it is in Fact more efficient to ride rounds right next to the egg woman , because you see immediately when she has an egg .
1000 eggs and nothing, give me some luck fam
working on a shiny rowlet right now 183 in and nada yet got a ways to go lol
Christian Cormier
was at a 130 eevee streak... then i fcked up and the low one killed itself. FeelsBatMan
"how to hatch in 1 min" * takes 5 to do video
Of course, you moron. He is also explaining the process.
you mean taking 3 minutes to get to the actual point of the video?
But other than those two points, love the video and I hope it helps those wanting to get into breeding
or just go inside the gate in front of the nursery with Tauros and spin in circles. that's even faster
A. Shadowfurychaos exactly
that small space?
أنا مجرفة yeah it's super tiny so normally your tauros can't even go through the gate , but once you're in , just summon your tauros , press B andspin in circles for one or two minutes . It'll count as if you were running continuously .
Foxintoxx by
Guys it takes about 12 times running up and down like that :)
just run in circles on toraus in the pen in front of the nursery
oh i saw that on another channel isn't faster than this way
king soundwave yeah it is....
Yep, that's what I do and it's much faster plus you can get another egg the second it's ready
Also, you can get an oval charm if you defeat the guy in the Game Freak office in Heahea City. This increases the chance that an egg will be produced, speeding up the breeding process even more.
12 laps is the longest time. That's for a Jangmo-o egg
I keep seeing people talk about things that work better, but I haven't seen anyone mention the super easy one, where you just ram Tauros' face into the daycare. lmao
One question... Do flame body and magma armor stack?
Luke Worley no
Luke Worley yes
Luke Worley flame body stacks too. Carry a party of 5 fletchinders will make it 1/32 the amount of time it takes to hatch
No it does not stack I've tried it
Alex Hernandez It doesn't. XD Gamefreak isn't dumb enough to implement such a stupid mechanic.
Ya know, it's way faster to use Tauros in the small pen just south of the lady who gives you eggs, and run in circles? Then you see the second she has a new egg available, and it's much faster in general than running up and down the road to hatch.
So your "technique" is to use flame body while riding tauros?
Thank you, O king of things everyone already knows.
You can also get the oval charm by a guy named mormioto in the game freak headquarters. This makes it so eggs are made faster
Just go in a circle with the joystick you don't even have to go into the pen.
K The pen helps you keep track of your steps, each time you face the hay is some number of steps I can't recall off the top of my head.
that's not true lol, you could be spinning the joy stick, quick or slow, so the times that you would be facing the hay would be drastically different. And staying out of the pen and running circles besides her is faster because you do not have to get off of your mount to collect the egg.
hey wait a minute you're that guy with the name i stole a year ago, woah
It also depends on the Pokemon. I hatched some eggs that took maybe 10-20 seconds.
Diamonddeath Egg cycle differentiation.
There's a better way. There is a hold in the fence in front of the day care and you can walk in there, summon tauros and charge in circles.
See that little fence across from the hatchery? Walk in there, then hop on Taurus, then go in circles! Very easy, but so is this method- found the fence one out myself. Please give it a try and tell me if it works for you! :^)
GraffitiBee I said the same thing without reading your comment xD
Tipsy Beveridge it's okay, I'm just noticing now that other people have said it. Good to know it works, and that others have found out about it!
Instead of running up and down through that loading screen you can walk into the small fenced-in area under the sister that gives you the eggs. Then you mount up on Tauros, and just around in a circle because it won't let you leave on a mount. You can get the steps in really fast that way.
thought this would be a real tip that isn't obvious as fuck.
you can go into that space in front, mount up and run in a circle. that's how I've been hatching them. Great video. keep it up.
Probably the most no-brainer video I ever saw, no offense.
YaBoyStrato That was a stupidly long comment that basically said "This video is redundant and isn't the best way to hatch eggs."
Matthew K. yea lol I did. you could say my comment was redundant as well. but fact is this video was still is pointless. even misleading for new players.
YaBoyStrato True, but he did do what he said he would, despite it not being the best way to do said thing.
Matthew K. Yea I agree. he never really lied or anything. I was more surprised with this being in recommended and it was about hatching eggs in the new pokemon. I suppose there is a demographic for everything but i, personally, was shocked.
thanks this was really helpful BTW you just got yourself another subscriber well done
...Did this really need a whole video? I mean, this is what people were doing anyway.
why did you look for the video xD
Sturdy Cloud Because the title frames the video as a trick to hatch eggs quickly.
Thank you so much! I've been looking for something like this for awhile!
Awesome! I can get my Stufful in no time then
By the way, you can ride in a circle in between the fence edge and patch of grass next to the red truck where the nursery girl stands. Hatches eggs slightly faster and her animation updates in real-time, allowing for even smoother egg hatching
I want my 6 dv ditto from x and y ... Why Pokemon Bank WHY ??? (2017 update)
_PRoHacker00 _ using pkhex at all is cheating no matter how you use it
_PRoHacker00 _ I agree waiting sucks but you can't use 3rd party things to put pokemon in your game at all or its not legitament if you want to use it for fun that's fine but if he wants his ditto to breed for competition it's cheating
_PRoHacker00 _
Also, it's now very easy to get the oval charm (defeat the trainer in the gamefreak office after becoming champion), that will ensure that there's an egg ready for pickup once the one you're carrying hatches.
5 Minutes 32sec Video on how to hatch eggs in 60sec 😂😂
Great tip, there are also a bit of boulders on that rout for anyone doing it. you can always swing by and smash em, maybe collect a stardust or two!
Kyle Gruber Trainer has 2 legs. Tauros has 4. Therefore, Tauros takes double steps. Pokémon science! Probably...
he means Stoutland
Hope so. because O powers were MEGA usefull
azaefe yeah, hatching Dragon Pokémon or a snorlax took forever without the O-Power.
You walk in the enclosed area and hop on Taurus and do 360s to hatch eggs.
though that is true you would easily loosen or even nearly break your circle pad
I just run in that fenced off area just below the day care woman so I can still see if another egg is available.
Notification SQUADDDDD
Here
Squadddddddd!
hi Arekkz
you also have to consider what type of pokemon youre breeding when generalizing the time it takes to hatch an egg, a pokemon like dratini will take almost 4 times as many steps as, say, a magikarp would
420th LIKE
THANK YOU FOR THE GUIDE!!! i can now do the madusa method again and again
btw your video was very helpful and awesome ^-^
60 seconds assuming the Pokemon takes 5,120 steps or less and it's only one egg, and you have a Pokemon with Flame Body or Magma Armor in your party. A Pokemon like Eevee takes about 1:30 Minutes assuming it's one egg since Eevee takes 8,900 steps to hatch, which is considerably more than most Pokemon. A batch takes about 5 minutes due to the Egg hatching animations taking about 30 seconds and the 15 seconds you waste picking one up.
This is by far the slowest method I've ever seen so far XD
Since when does anyone ever hatch literally one egg at a time when the goal is to hatch a large amount...
I love the irony "How to hatch an egg in 60 seconds" and the video is 5.5 minutes.
What if I have 5 Pokémon with flame body, and 1 egg?
Spending most of my time in Pokemon games breeding Pokemon, I thought this video would actually tell me something that hasn't been in Pokemon since Gen 2...
I was sorely disappointed.
Great videos Arekkz!
the hatching strat where you go in circles with tarus in the little fence area infront of the daycare is faster and easier
It takes a moment to become proficient in it, however you can run in circles in the space beside her while not having to dismount Tauros.
just go into that little fenced off area in front of her with taurus and charge while moving the joy stick in circles so you can see her cross her arms
Thanks This works. Keep up the great work!
Something useful that he didn't mention is that after you become champion if you battle the Game Freak guy and win he'll give you the Oval Stone which permanently makes your egg hatch time smaller.
