Just want to throw out that all of the power items are available on Poni Island in the post-game, such as the Power Weight in Resolution Cave. Just another quality of life improvement like the Destiny Knot.
Fyn my bad, I think for the power belt you need to teach a black belt's incineroar acrobatics to someone in the royal avenue... try the usum items section of the pokearth for royal avenue. Hope this helps!

This was very informative and well made, thanks for going through the trouble of explaining each step in detail. I mainly bred solely for shinies, but maybe I'll surprise my more veteran friends by showing them a well made competitive team (in battle of course). They always tease me about using the generic Pokemon I find, but having played the game for so long, I still feel bonds to those Pokemon. And with my skill, I can still beat their competitive Pokemon half the time just with my "generic" teams. Imagine me with an actual team bred to beat them! (for sure going to breed some nice faries, one of my veteran friends is a Dragon user.) And he bugs me about playing like a noob, everyone knows not to use a single type in battle! Or did Valerie not teach him that in X and Y? Lol, but for sure. I spent nearly two years completing my Living Pokedex, and now I'll be able to use it to my advantage. Wish me luck! :3
tip: having a pokemon with the synchronize ability (like abra) with the nature you want putting in front of the party gives a 50% chance for that nature to copy on the wild pokemon including legends another tip is that the abra can be fainted and still have that high chance to copy on the wild pokemon saves trouble and can save your life if you killed some of the ditto 5.
This was a pretty good tutorial although I recomend getting the proper nature first. Also I never knew about the synchronize nature trick so I might begin bringing gardevior on my shiny hunts now.
I remember back in my original Sun playthrough, I started breeding, and I wanted a level 100 Ditto because, why not? When I seeked level 100 Ditto on the GTS, a majority were Shiny, eventually I got a normal, japanese named level 100 ditto, I put it back in the GTS and asked for another level 100 Ditto because I hate pokemon names in different languages, I got a Shiny Ditto, I was really confused, after I hatched 20 eggs and got the IV check, I found out it had 0 IVs, as in, all of its stats said "No good" This good and bad Ditto made me really happy when I found a Hidden Ability four IV ditto while SOS searching for one of those,
The "Ditto five" are incredibly helpful for breeding pokemon with perfect IVs. Game Freak made some improvements to catching shinies and rare encounters as well.

I actually like Bulbapedia and they have an app for Android too. but the app can be a bit buggy with lagging and a few people have had the app crash. Haven't had a problem with that myself though. No viruses (they can cause this stuff but I don't think I've got any on my phone). Just if you use the app, make sure to go in and close it completely when your done cuz it can slow your phone down quite a bit even in the background. Wouldn't know on PC cuz mine is 7 yrs old and slower than a snail already.

omg, been playing for almost 200 hours, breeding and using poke pelago for bottle caps, and only now I discovered with this video about destiny knot... now I understand why its taking forever to complete a "pokemon stadium" of lvl 50 pokemons with perfect IVs and nature xD with this I will save lots of time getting 1 good iv pokemon out of 20 eggs xD
You can also get everstones by Catching rogenrolla In the cave near the professors House you will need taurus and in that cave around 25% rogenrolla has an Everstone
I have a lot 5 perfect IVS pokemon but the first 6 perfect iv pokemon I got through breeding was a midday lycanroc along with normal torrent Greninja with 6 Perfect IVS and Infernape with iron fist with 6 perfect IVS

Isaiah OPM the ditto had 4 perfect ivs and the bagon had 4 perfect ivs. I️ eventually got a perfect bagon but I️ don’t get why even with the items they weren’t passing down 5 perfect ivs
Short Tempered its not guaranteed that you get 5 perfect ivs. The destiny knot takes 5 ivs from the two Pokemon. It doesn't always take the perfect ones though.
I have been breeding a bunch not really having any idea what I was doing. Watched the video and realized I needed the judge feature, but I am only half way through Akala Island. Should I just hoard these Pokémon until I get it so I can see the IVs?
someone please tell me if i got this right. so i have evees with the right nature of both gender, and a male hidden ability evee. if i breed the hidden ability male with a ditto untill i get a hidden ability female, then breed that female with a correct nature male holding an everstone, i'll get the right nature and hidden ability?

Did you mean Entei? If you did, then you can't. It's a legendary Pokemon so it can't breed. The only legendary Pokemon that can breed is Manaphy but it's eggs all turn into a Phione.
Eevee can have "stored power" like egg move. let's say i get myself one with it, then have it know Last resort and baton pass, could that make its exclusive Z-Move, "Extreme Evoboost", more useful?

Or to save time instead of getting fletchling, get a magby in the grass near the volcano place cause it will already have flame body.
This is way better, I missed magby when I was looking over flame body Pokemon!
Or save a rarecandy and use it on fletchling. Its already at evolve lvl anyway, and the encounter rate of fletchling is a bit higher than magby.

You can get the Destiny Knot from the Battle Royal Dome along with the Everstone. It costs some Battle Points, though.

Mark Sutcliffe sure. Or trade and start over. Unless you have Pokemon bank then just put them I in there until you get the judge feature post game.

3rd nature ability and egg moves
4th nature ability egg moves and iv's

j.r. Rabet you might still get the fathers non hidden ability but yes. Its possible to get the hidden ability with the nature you want
