Yesterday, i lost my best friend, my beloved pet. She died in the hospital without me by her side. The next morning, i took her body from the hospital, took her home, put her on my table and turned this song on. She left the world with her eyes open- Now I feel like God let that happen on purpose, for me to have my closure. I laid my side head down and see her eye-to-eye, singing “In your presence I heal. Yes you are, yes you are.” I sang it to her over and over and petted her gently till I was ready to let go- I closed her eyes and buried her in my yard.
