Hi, enjoyed the vlog. I've been to Germany many years ago when my late brother was stationed over there in Minden. Its the first place I tried mayonnaise on chips. I was also introduced to curry squeezy sauce, that was delicious. I also tried a delicious vodka and grapefruit juice drink, which was kept in the freezer called Samba, you drank it from a shot glass. Yummy. I love a peruse of their supermarkets, that goes for any country I visit. As for the USA, I bring, back packets of biscuit mixes, everything but the bagel jars, cellotape from Walmart, basically things we don't have here in the UK. I like to take a spare case for all the things I will bring back 😄 We are going to Bradenton in Florida in two weeks time, can't wait, I've got my spare case all ready 😅. When I went to Germany I didn't buy anything. My sister bought my mum a cuckoo clock in thee Black Forest though. My Aunty also bought one. My niece was in Germany last year and she had currywurst and was raving about how fabulous it was. Your haul was great. 😊
Do you think it could be the Reichstag on the Starbucks mug? We like to bring back the Zigeuner (are we allowed to say that now) packet sauces and the bottles of curry sauce/senf - along with various spirits of course (Apfelkorn etc): but only when we take the car - too heavy if we're flying.
