Just a quick little snippet of my apartment and room in Shanghai.
This is my first official apartment and the first time I've sort of lived alone (I lived in dorms last year).
Let me tell you, it ain't easy living alone ! From having to fork out the big bucks for rent to killing cockroaches on your own (and by kill I mean stand on my bed and scream) I've grown up so much and acquired so many new skills since moving into this room with my two workmates/friends.

maybe you can have a try of Wellcee.com ? very lovely housing rental app/website, English version and no agents involved. Btw，I just found my flatmate from Wellcee 🍻
a friend told me about wellcee.com , maybe you can have a try, free to use, no agents on it

Patarasaya Komoltri my room was 4500rmb the whole apartment was 11,000 but this was three years ago so prices wouldve gone up

May I ask which neighborhood/community is this? I'm new to shanghai and looking for decent apartment as well but couldn't find one at a reasonable price;( Also I'm looking to live with roommates as well. Thanks so much!

they do overprice it, so make sure you haggle haha
