- Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has joined Queensland LNP Leader David Crisafulli on the campaign trail ahead of the state election.
“Let’s get David Crisafulli elected as premier so that Queensland has some hope into the future,” Mr Dutton said during a media conference on Friday.
“Labor is tired ... they have starved Queenslanders of choice and of hope.
“Voting starts shortly, and I just really encourage people to support their local LNP candidates.”

Those who have lived in Queensland for many years have witnessed how the state deteriorated under Labor. Crime is has increased by 100%. Police no longer answer calls, and magistrates rarely lock up criminals. I also visited an elderly relative in QLD and witnessed how the health system works there. He ended up lying in pain in a crowed hallyway, in a major hospital, for over 9 hours, while waiting for a bed and to be seen by medical personnel. Has Queensland now become a third-world state? You would have to be a fool to return this state government. Vote for anyone else but Labor.

Our government could reduce prices for us because of empathy considering the pressures we’re under. However the government has turned its back on us for the sake of an ideal. Net zero has failed already overseas. It has failed here regardless of the mix of energy harvesting choices.
