The route is practically the same, the difference is that in this new one I didn't cut the dialogues and added the familiar level farm point. Another difference is in the resolution, the one in the previous video was pretty bad compared to the 1080 in this one.
Since Dominus collection is out now, here's to hope they will release a 3D Castlevania collection with X Chronicles, Rondo of Blood, and Symphony of the Night as bonus games.
Copyright problems. The music at the Castle Entrance and the Long Library is copyrighted and is always flagged on RUclips. I was able to use an AI sound splitter and separate some of the original music and add another copyright-free song. It wasn't perfect, but at least we managed to overcome these problems.
The channel has almost all games from the Castlevania saga. The next one I'm going to do will be Bloodlines. If you liked the new collection that came out recently, there are 3 complete games too, all items and quests.
Dang. Ignoring health/magic/heart upgrades is just brutal. Nice damage-less Prologue, sub-weapon-less. Too bad not under 1minute (I get why) but that does give any bonuses in Luck Mode.
They could re-release now after these colections and add more difficulty. Even without getting the upgrades, the game ends up being easy compared to the NDS Castlevanias.
Want to eventually run this game for Retro Achievements. Can this same guide be used for the US version of Symphony? I know there are some differences. Ex. At least as far as 200.6% and item locations. I have never attempted luck mode, so I'm grateful you posted this.
I think so. There isn't much difference between the versions. There are 2 more familiars 1:10:05 - Nose Demon Card 1:26:00 - Half-Fairie Card In the US version there will be a Holy Sword in place of the Nose Demon and a Sword Familiar Card in place of the Half-Fairie If I'm not mistaken. The Sword Card Familiar in this version appears here 1:21:11, in the US you will find a Garnet Ring instead.

I didn't take it on purpose. The game in general is very easy, even starting it at luck 99 where the stats are reduced, so to try to make it a little more difficult, I didn't collect any HP Vessel and Heart Upgrade. Although I haven't collected them, I show everyone's location in the game and I'll add their timestamps in the comments.

The route is practically the same, the difference is that in this new one I didn't cut the dialogues and added the familiar level farm point. Another difference is in the resolution, the one in the previous video was pretty bad compared to the 1080 in this one.

The music at the Castle Entrance and the Long Library is copyrighted and is always flagged on RUclips.
I was able to use an AI sound splitter and separate some of the original music and add another copyright-free song. It wasn't perfect, but at least we managed to overcome these problems.

Dang. Ignoring health/magic/heart upgrades is just brutal.
Nice damage-less Prologue, sub-weapon-less. Too bad not under 1minute (I get why) but that does give any bonuses in Luck Mode.
They could re-release now after these colections and add more difficulty. Even without getting the upgrades, the game ends up being easy compared to the NDS Castlevanias.

In the US version there will be a Holy Sword in place of the Nose Demon and a Sword Familiar Card in place of the Half-Fairie If I'm not mistaken. The Sword Card Familiar in this version appears here 1:21:11, in the US you will find a Garnet Ring instead.

Why dont take the heart on 15:10?
I didn't take it on purpose. The game in general is very easy, even starting it at luck 99 where the stats are reduced, so to try to make it a little more difficult, I didn't collect any HP Vessel and Heart Upgrade.
