In this difficulty you don't gain any level and therefore you won't have an increase in your Stats (STR/INT/CON/LCK). Consequently, the maximum that Charlotte can reach in intelligence, even using INT Boost, will be 72. To earn TwinBee and passively increase INT by 50, simply complete the game on Hard Mode Lv.25 or Lv.1 difficulty. You did what I would do during the Mastery Grind. I later learned that it's not Necessary to kill with the Sub Weapons just one hit and then kill the Enemy you hit and Jonathan gets the Mastery Points in fact on the Top Screen it shows you how many Master points you'd get for Hitting them with a Sub Weapons That's what the "SP" stood for all this time later that takes a lot of hassle out of the grind. e.g. While you were Killing the Zombies in the City of Haze you were getting 1 SP Per Zombie you killed and that's multiplied by the 2 Master Rings you had where as during your Gold Grind The Succubus would have given you 5 SP and if it weren't obvious Bosses gives you a BIG boost, know that there are Specific Bosses that don't give you any Mastery Including: Stella, Loretta, Brauner, Whip's Memory, Death and Dracula
I was struggling with the boss rush mode, I found the best weapon combination. It helped me to get the record 1 & 2 with dual characters. Jonathan Any whip Bible (Mastered) 1000 blades (course 2)/greatest five (course 3) Charlotte Tome of arms 3 Thunderbolt/time stop (final boss) Holy lightning
6:21:02 I am here at the castle once more. Richter took 70 pies to the face and got defeated on my first try. Took down Death on my first attempt, too. Tempest wrecked him. So did Jonathan's Royal sword. Legion was EASY. Stella not so much. Astarte went down easily. Thank you for your guide, I was able to destroy Dullahan on my first try at level 12. Charlotte's rock magic obliterated him.
Special mention to "monster" Persephone, who no matter how much is beaten, she keeps on doing her job. What an efficient maid 👀. PS: I laughed when I saw her again, but with the vacuum cleaner 🤣🤣.
Man, the completion for the map has always been a pain in the ass, i did use map completion cheat just so i can continue further in the game, it would take toooo long and it’s tedious back and forth but this game is awesome
I have tips for the death boss. 1. When he starts hovering with his rotating sythe. Thunderbolt bolt death's head 1 or 2 times 2. When bone hands appear change to Charlotte. If hands catch her call Jonathan to save her. Attack with Jonathan and use Charlotte only for spell attack. Tip for Medusa boss Don't call or change to Charlotte she has no role here. 1. Strike her with whip and block Medusa head with whip drop skill. 2. When she makes her tail like mountains reach under her use your Bible sub weapon and meteor dual attack. Defend yourself until she dies. What do you think?
Good tips. On death I avoided letting someone be grabbed because for me it was the same as taking some damage and I wanted to defeat no damage. At Medusa I hadn't thought about using the Bible. Despite that, she dies very quickly, just like the Werewolf. They take a lot of damage from the Vampire Killer.
I noticed at the Death Boss, around the 4:39:19 mark and throughout the fight, that the game slowed, yet the audio played at full speed. Was it your Sound Settings you have that made the sound play smoothly, or was it game lag? If it’s the former, what settings did you use? If it’s the latter, then that gives me the answer: it’s game stuff.
To be honest, I didn't worry too much about the settings when I started the gameplay and when it got to this point and these delays happened I thought it was better to go ahead than restart with a new setting. So much so that the sound settings was the same as the order of ecclesia. Sound Core Xaudio2 interface, Linear. As for the problem itself, it happened other times during gameplay and I believe it was due to the amount of stuff on the screen. The same thing happens against Stella & Loretta. I believe that some tweaks in Emulation and 3D Settings would have solved it, but I didn't try.
Thanks for the reply. This helped me out some with the question I had, but you are right that it could be the game having too much on screen. The only time that "too much on screen" happened was on an OoE Randomizer I did. Any other time, it was emulator slowdown instead. Edit: I got the sound effects to be smooth, but the music isn't full speed when slowed down.
It takes 50 whip hits for Dracula and Death to fuse. It takes 56 hits to destroy him in his final form. Count out loud. I have been counting out loud and it helps. As for Brauner you just need to hit him 37 times.
i also tried it on level 50 max but this was the only Castlevania on hard mode i couldn't beat! The Enemies hit you so hard even what level you are because they level up with you...that's unfair and i think it makes the game not as enjoyable.
As someone who tried hardcap lvl 1 with Richter, ans ALMOST manage to beat it entireley, I don’t need to watch to say you are a PSYCHO GOD DAMMIT WHY EVEN WITH CHARLOT AND JONATHAN THIS HELL (I do underground how pleasant it can be to tryhard and forced to know the game by heart, however, the hardcap was clearly implemented with 0 testing. I am never fighting the 6000 hp of Brauner doing 19 of dmg as Richter, that’s a bit to much of a hardmode)
The creator of these modes is a sadomasochist. This Richter & Maria, and Albus Mode in Ecclesia are absurd. You die for two slaps, literally and the best thing you can do is run from anything other than Boss. Because even mobs can easily get you into trouble.

Both have ups and downs, I think when the combat is as intense as Ecclesia with a partner system and expansive maps like Ruin, we can get a good experience.
Do you know OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)? It is a program very used to stream lives, but it also has a video recording option. One of its tools allows you to create several video windows on the same screen. In my case, in the emulator there are two small splints, I create a screen link for each one of them in OBS and adjust the position and dimension as I wish.
it's annoying to have added a cheatcode for luck, I wonder how long it will take you without a cheat. Otherwise great video, it helps me a lot in my hardrun !
That forest took me so long, I was ashamed. Skeleton Cave also took me a while. Those freaking flying skeletons are the worst. I've done some really difficult things in Castlevania games. Like all six difficulty loops on NOMIS mode of Akumajou X68000 or Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse as only Trevor on second loop through the Sunken City of Poltergeists path. And with saying all that, I think Hard Lv1 Order of Ecclesia has been harder.
News Update: All I have left to do is beat Dracula and I'll have 100%'d Hard Lv1 mode. All boss medals acquired, just need Drac's now. Also managed to do it without using any Use Items, which definitely didn't help me. Jiang Shi was pretty easy but getting to him was very rough. This challenge was a nightmare. (Still talking about Order of Ecclesia, think a long break is in order before Portrait of Ruin.)

For me Medusa Head is the worst of all. This enemy almost made me give up making the Order of Ecclesia gameplay that I did before Portrait, so many times I ended up dying in that Ruvas Forest.
How easily and quickly can I get Thor's Bellow? I'm tired of going through floors with bosses and killing the only monster with a horse's head, and getting nothing.
It's really a matter of luck. If you are playing on the emulator you could use the 999 luck cheat to make it easier and use the Thief Ring (7:55:51) which also helps with the drop.
Idk why in every video I saw about ppl defeating Dracula they did 100+ damage, but I was barely doing 30 even with STR+... Anyway, I already defeated him by spamming the meteor attack and using all the potions; would have been a real pain in the ass otherwise.

TwinBee aumenta permanentemente la Inteligencia en 50 puntos y Vic Vipper aumenta permanentemente la Suerte en 50 puntos.
¿En qué dificultad estás jugando? Si está en Difícil, deberás derrotar a Drácula para recibir uno de estos elementos, si está en lv.1, recibirás los tres elementos.

You did what I would do during the Mastery Grind. I later learned that it's not Necessary to kill with the Sub Weapons just one hit and then kill the Enemy you hit and Jonathan gets the Mastery Points in fact on the Top Screen it shows you how many Master points you'd get for Hitting them with a Sub Weapons That's what the "SP" stood for all this time later that takes a lot of hassle out of the grind. e.g. While you were Killing the Zombies in the City of Haze you were getting 1 SP Per Zombie you killed and that's multiplied by the 2 Master Rings you had where as during your Gold Grind The Succubus would have given you 5 SP and if it weren't obvious Bosses gives you a BIG boost, know that there are Specific Bosses that don't give you any Mastery Including: Stella, Loretta, Brauner, Whip's Memory, Death and Dracula

6:21:02 I am here at the castle once more. Richter took 70 pies to the face and got defeated on my first try. Took down Death on my first attempt, too. Tempest wrecked him. So did Jonathan's Royal sword. Legion was EASY. Stella not so much. Astarte went down easily. Thank you for your guide, I was able to destroy Dullahan on my first try at level 12. Charlotte's rock magic obliterated him.
Special mention to "monster" Persephone, who no matter how much is beaten, she keeps on doing her job.
What an efficient maid 👀.
PS: I laughed when I saw her again, but with the vacuum cleaner 🤣🤣.

Man, the completion for the map has always been a pain in the ass, i did use map completion cheat just so i can continue further in the game, it would take toooo long and it’s tedious back and forth but this game is awesome

I have tips for the death boss.
1. When he starts hovering with his rotating sythe. Thunderbolt bolt death's head 1 or 2 times
2. When bone hands appear change to Charlotte. If hands catch her call Jonathan to save her.
Attack with Jonathan and use Charlotte only for spell attack.
Tip for Medusa boss
Don't call or change to Charlotte she has no role here.
1. Strike her with whip and block Medusa head with whip drop skill.
2. When she makes her tail like mountains reach under her use your Bible sub weapon and meteor dual attack. Defend yourself until she dies.

On death I avoided letting someone be grabbed because for me it was the same as taking some damage and I wanted to defeat no damage.
At Medusa I hadn't thought about using the Bible.
Despite that, she dies very quickly, just like the Werewolf. They take a lot of damage from the Vampire Killer.
I noticed at the Death Boss, around the 4:39:19 mark and throughout the fight, that the game slowed, yet the audio played at full speed. Was it your Sound Settings you have that made the sound play smoothly, or was it game lag? If it’s the former, what settings did you use? If it’s the latter, then that gives me the answer: it’s game stuff.
To be honest, I didn't worry too much about the settings when I started the gameplay and when it got to this point and these delays happened I thought it was better to go ahead than restart with a new setting.
So much so that the sound settings was the same as the order of ecclesia. Sound Core Xaudio2 interface, Linear.
As for the problem itself, it happened other times during gameplay and I believe it was due to the amount of stuff on the screen. The same thing happens against Stella & Loretta.
I believe that some tweaks in Emulation and 3D Settings would have solved it, but I didn't try.
Thanks for the reply. This helped me out some with the question I had, but you are right that it could be the game having too much on screen. The only time that "too much on screen" happened was on an OoE Randomizer I did. Any other time, it was emulator slowdown instead.
Edit: I got the sound effects to be smooth, but the music isn't full speed when slowed down.

It takes 50 whip hits for Dracula and Death to fuse. It takes 56 hits to destroy him in his final form. Count out loud. I have been counting out loud and it helps. As for Brauner you just need to hit him 37 times.

Wow i was trying to play it yesterday at lv 50 max but it is hard as fuck and you did at lv 1 congratulations
i also tried it on level 50 max but this was the only Castlevania on hard mode i couldn't beat! The Enemies hit you so hard even what level you are because they level up with you...that's unfair and i think it makes the game not as enjoyable.
As someone who tried hardcap lvl 1 with Richter, ans ALMOST manage to beat it entireley, I don’t need to watch to say you are a PSYCHO GOD DAMMIT WHY EVEN WITH CHARLOT AND JONATHAN THIS HELL
(I do underground how pleasant it can be to tryhard and forced to know the game by heart, however, the hardcap was clearly implemented with 0 testing. I am never fighting the 6000 hp of Brauner doing 19 of dmg as Richter, that’s a bit to much of a hardmode)
The creator of these modes is a sadomasochist. This Richter & Maria, and Albus Mode in Ecclesia are absurd. You die for two slaps, literally and the best thing you can do is run from anything other than Boss. Because even mobs can easily get you into trouble.
How can you see the bosses health bars?. I've played this game many times and I didn't know you could actually do that
I added the HP bar while editing the video, it is not part of any version of the game. The same in the Order of Ecclesia and Dawn of Sorrow videos.
I know it's a necessity if you don't want this playthrough to last +100 hours, but 999 luck doesn't feel right

I honestly prefer portrait of ruin. Quantity and quality in one game
Both have ups and downs, I think when the combat is as intense as Ecclesia with a partner system and expansive maps like Ruin, we can get a good experience.
How did you set it up to see both status screens at the same time? Sorry if this was asked before.
Do you know OBS (Open Broadcaster Software)? It is a program very used to stream lives, but it also has a video recording option. One of its tools allows you to create several video windows on the same screen.
In my case, in the emulator there are two small splints, I create a screen link for each one of them in OBS and adjust the position and dimension as I wish.

These Hard Lv1 game modes are insane. I'm currently doing it on Order of Ecclesia. It's quite unpleasant. About 1/3 of the way through.
Ruvas Forest was one of the hardest things I came across in this game. Much more than Dracula himself.
That forest took me so long, I was ashamed. Skeleton Cave also took me a while. Those freaking flying skeletons are the worst.
I've done some really difficult things in Castlevania games. Like all six difficulty loops on NOMIS mode of Akumajou X68000 or Castlevania 3 Dracula's Curse as only Trevor on second loop through the Sunken City of Poltergeists path. And with saying all that, I think Hard Lv1 Order of Ecclesia has been harder.
News Update: All I have left to do is beat Dracula and I'll have 100%'d Hard Lv1 mode. All boss medals acquired, just need Drac's now.
Also managed to do it without using any Use Items, which definitely didn't help me. Jiang Shi was pretty easy but getting to him was very rough.
This challenge was a nightmare. (Still talking about Order of Ecclesia, think a long break is in order before Portrait of Ruin.)
@@officedullard8722 The large Cavern It's a test of patience. Double Hammer and Weapon Master are a pain in the ass. Two hits from them put you in the crow's beak. lol
Last update: All done! Did the boss rush stuff too for all the special helms. Maybe I'll do Albus Hard Lv1 too someday but I don't think anytime soon.

For me Medusa Head is the worst of all.
This enemy almost made me give up making the Order of Ecclesia gameplay that I did before Portrait, so many times I ended up dying in that Ruvas Forest.
How easily and quickly can I get Thor's Bellow? I'm tired of going through floors with bosses and killing the only monster with a horse's head, and getting nothing.
It's really a matter of luck. If you are playing on the emulator you could use the 999 luck cheat to make it easier and use the Thief Ring (7:55:51) which also helps with the drop.

Idk why in every video I saw about ppl defeating Dracula they did 100+ damage, but I was barely doing 30 even with STR+... Anyway, I already defeated him by spamming the meteor attack and using all the potions; would have been a real pain in the ass otherwise.

Desmume emulator was a cheat menu with a list of all Castlevania PoT cheats.
