Guys I've been flying my analog nazgul for over a year with no issues. Slamed into street signs, concrete, failsafed from 4 story high drope and didnt even skuff the carbon. Thing is a tank!
I Definitely agree with your initial comment "can't build cheaper than the pre-built". Ive been considering my next drone, and while I love building, there are so many pre built options that are just as good and cheaper too. Plus, quicker to get in the air 😁

What a shame, your cinepro is just gathering dust, but I understand it, if you have started DJI digital fpv. I am waiting for an alternative, but I am still a fan of analog simplicity. SOLAR FPV yes he will find a new home. It flew fantastic without prop guards and bigger props until I tried to change the VTX to higher mw and screwed it all up. Gotta fix that first, then I can sell him. As I said, low priority now, as I am flying with the CineGo DJI. I struggle to find time to fly let alone do repairs!

I agree with Andy's recommendation, the iFlight Nazgul is a stellar quad, although I haven't flown the Vista version I'm sure it'd be great. You can trim that 3-D printed camera protector with scissors that's what I did with mine I trimmed the bottom and a little bit on the sides and left the top. And as far as the battery goes what I do is I put a piece of elcro in the back of my battery and the other piece of velcro stuck to the frame where the battery sits, it works great it sticks and holds the battery snug it doesn't let the back end move.
Hey again Andy, regarding the second battery strap; my daily basher has an iFlight XL5 V4 frame with the upper TPU piece in the back, between the two pairs of aft standoffs like the V5 has. I sandwiched a strap between the frame and the TPU, and the TPU flexes just enough when the hardware is tightened up to allow for the strap to be mounted. Also adds a bit of preload to the top plate hardware which is nice. However, you won't really be able to move the strap much once the top plate is installed, but it's worked well for me so far.
My question would be with the hero 8 do you get any jello with the hypersmooth turned off with that mount? It seems to move around more than I would like to see but looks like a solid bnf. Glad your doing well brother and as always happy flying and crashing!!
I bought one but I fried the flight controller from it lmao. Now waiting for a new fc. I have the 6s analog version, using it with dji goggles and bdi digidapater with fusion. Fly safe everybody! :D
there is an analog version of the nazgul5 v2 as well, just arrived on the iflight store - the one linked in the pinned comment is the v1, not the new one!
My nazgul V2 analog came with quite low settings on the filter sliders, the top slider was almost all the way to the right I think one notch from the end, the motors were getting warm just hovering for 1 or 2 mins, I lowered the sliders back towards the middle some and the motors still feel kind of warm. Are those filter settings stock settings? Also this is my first 6s quad, I've had about 10 other 4s 5inch quads and their motors were never even warm when pushed hard, is this just because of higher 6s voltage the motors run warm? Sorry it's so long.

HD is so good, not even a question anymore with the 50mb update, especially if you fly alone. And I love the vista > the standard air unit, the reduced weight and 6s capability is beautiful.
@@mhoovair89 have tried the Dji system, the quality is amazing! Still have a slight air of caution with Dji doing weird things with updates and lock outs. Here in Australia, they aren't very quick to update correctly. So geofencing sucks!

Hey there Can I use my DX-6e Remote controller with the new DJI FPV goggles? I’m new to all this. I purchased the Nazgul5 V2 BNF quadcopter, How do all these bind together?
LOS game on point as usual. What do you use as your point of reference? Maybe my eyesight just sucks. I grew up flying planes LOS and have never been able to make it translate to quads. I lose my point of reference almost immediately.
Good to see you posting again Andy. Could you let me know how it holds up after crashes. The carbon on the Titan 5 and 7" sucks. Arms snap like twigs! I have blown two iflight esc's as well. Anyone else had problems with Iflight gear or just me? Anyone not sure whether to buy 4 or 6s versions. Go 4s and use Drainman's gold standard motor output limit and auto profile set up. Works like a charm. Flying 2306 2450kv limited to 1850 for 6s and can swap to 4s no probs.

Loved my analog nazzy, but i have 4s and those 2750kv xings drained the shit outta my lipos lol. I must have rebuilt that quad 5 times. It was my first fpv drone and I was NOT easy on the poor thing
if you are dji through and through and nothing else the dji controller is the best as no receiver is ever required. but otherwise id suggest radiomaster tx16S with 2.4 ELRS module
