    Morgan…I just discovered your channel and love it! I wanted to pass on a tip from an older, Italian viewer who has made a lot of stuffed shells in her life. Put the filling in a pastry bag or a ziplock with the corner snipped. Total game changer!

    Love!! I do these freezer meals a lot. You should keep trying more reusable bags/tupperware!! That's my go-to just to keep all that plastic out of the landfill :) (and save $$$$)
    I try to avoid the "flat" ones because they're harder to wash so, for anyone trying them, get the more triangle shaped ones!!

    Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 the colour of the Elk meat is really amazing, we don’t have that animal here. Or antelope! We don’t cook with peppers that much either. So interesting watching what’s ‘regular’ for other people 😊

    Hi Morgan. I recently found a new chicken marinade recipe for what is called 3 ingredient BBQ Chicken. All it calls for is 4 chicken breasts (I just use 2 and cut them in half), 1 cup of Italian dressing and 1 cp of BBQ sauce ( I love Head Country). Marinate the chicken any where from 4 hrs to overnight, and then grill the chicken for approx. 15 minutes or until done. My family loved it. I'm so ready to have veggies in the garden ready to pick. Hubby has been busy planting and stuff is already coming up.

      @@TheWyomingHomestead I'm sure it would freeze well. The last time I made it we just ate it with veggies on the side, but next time I think I'm going to make Chef Salads and use the chicken as the protein.

    Tip for you... Put your cheese stuffing in a plastic bag, cut off a corner and squeeze it into the shells. Or use a Pastry Bag if you have it... also works for for Manicotti or lasagna roll-ups... they are all the same process just different noodles. Enjoy the channel... thanks!

    • @TheWyomingHomestead
      @TheWyomingHomestead  Год назад +2

      Thank you so much! Great question, we just set it out on the counter to thaw for an hour or so and while it’s thawing it rises and is ready to go! Or you can let it thaw in the fridge and then just take it out about 30 mins before use to come up to temp and ride a little and you’re all set! 😊

      Great question! It is usually just the two of us and then the larger family will eat it when they visit or are in town for holidays. This year (365 days) we have almost gone through an elk, 2 antelope, and a deer. So I would guess about 9 months for us to go through about 200 lbs (an estimate) of elk meat 😊
