Morgan…I just discovered your channel and love it! I wanted to pass on a tip from an older, Italian viewer who has made a lot of stuffed shells in her life. Put the filling in a pastry bag or a ziplock with the corner snipped. Total game changer!
In Australia we call any member of the deer family Venison - I had to look up Elk! That was a real treat to watch, I hope to make it one day. I loved your pizza kits, I will definitely do that too. Thank you very inspiring, and I love that you tasted the food and loved it your passion shines through.
Thank you so much! I think it is so fun we can all share our different wild game and meat types! I hope you enjoy those pizza kits thank you so much for being here 😊
Love!! I do these freezer meals a lot. You should keep trying more reusable bags/tupperware!! That's my go-to just to keep all that plastic out of the landfill :) (and save $$$$) I try to avoid the "flat" ones because they're harder to wash so, for anyone trying them, get the more triangle shaped ones!!
Thank you so much! I’m glad you have found the greatness that freezer meals are too! We are working on building up our reusable containers for freezer meals, as I see good deals 😊
If you make anything for freezer meals or whatever put a layer of saran wrap over then the lid.I have been getting alot of glass to freeze in ,also to cook in.
Hello from Australia 🇦🇺 the colour of the Elk meat is really amazing, we don’t have that animal here. Or antelope! We don’t cook with peppers that much either. So interesting watching what’s ‘regular’ for other people 😊
Love your freezer cooking days!! I feel like we are friends just hanging out and cooking together thank you so much for your always amazing content ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Morgan. I recently found a new chicken marinade recipe for what is called 3 ingredient BBQ Chicken. All it calls for is 4 chicken breasts (I just use 2 and cut them in half), 1 cup of Italian dressing and 1 cp of BBQ sauce ( I love Head Country). Marinate the chicken any where from 4 hrs to overnight, and then grill the chicken for approx. 15 minutes or until done. My family loved it. I'm so ready to have veggies in the garden ready to pick. Hubby has been busy planting and stuff is already coming up.
@@TheWyomingHomestead I'm sure it would freeze well. The last time I made it we just ate it with veggies on the side, but next time I think I'm going to make Chef Salads and use the chicken as the protein.
Great recipes! I love freezer meals, I totally forgot about the orzo salad watching your video I remembered I used to eat it all the time when I was young! we used to substitute the garbanzo beans with tuna and it was a favorite light meal in the summer. thanks for sharing your recipes with us, I have really enjoyed it.
Tip for you... Put your cheese stuffing in a plastic bag, cut off a corner and squeeze it into the shells. Or use a Pastry Bag if you have it... also works for for Manicotti or lasagna roll-ups... they are all the same process just different noodles. Enjoy the channel... thanks!
@@TheWyomingHomestead it sure was a wonderful trip. A great memory. We drove through Casper too. Wyoming is gorgeous and the people we met were very gracious to this Massachusetts couple. I hope to go back someday.
Thank you so much! Great question, we just set it out on the counter to thaw for an hour or so and while it’s thawing it rises and is ready to go! Or you can let it thaw in the fridge and then just take it out about 30 mins before use to come up to temp and ride a little and you’re all set! 😊
@@TheWyomingHomestead great. I been making dinners for the freezer too. I wanted to make pizza dough so now I know how. Ty. One more thing, the shells, do I baked them frozen? How long? Thank You so much for your time ♥️

Hi Morgan. I'm a new sub but have been watching you for a little while. I would love to get the marinade recipes. Where can I find them. I love pizza kits great idea
Great question! It is usually just the two of us and then the larger family will eat it when they visit or are in town for holidays. This year (365 days) we have almost gone through an elk, 2 antelope, and a deer. So I would guess about 9 months for us to go through about 200 lbs (an estimate) of elk meat 😊
Maybe you need to grab your real butcher knives to cut the silver membrane off that elk.... or beef which ever you are using.??. Love gamma lids I put my shells filling into a zip lock bag , nip a corner of the bag and squeeze the filling into shells, manicotti
You made done great meals for you and Sam. Good job.
Thank you! 😊
You’re absolutely amazing!! I learned so much. Thank you 😀
Awe, thank you so much I really appreciate it! 😊

Sorry about that they are in the description now 😊
i am wondering , do you freeze the pasta salad?
We do not, that is just a meal prep for the week 😊
Hi i love your content! Could you please tell me how many pizza crusts that recipe makes I may have missed it.:)
Thank you so much! Sorry about that, we usually make 2, adult sized personal pizzas out of each crust 😊
I've never had Elk, does it taste like beef?
Yes! It is very similar to beef but is extremely lean 😊
How long do you think it takes your family to eat an entire elk? Just curious!
Also, that is my favorite tomato paste! I buy several at once.
Great question! It is usually just the two of us and then the larger family will eat it when they visit or are in town for holidays.
