Hello. I just found your fantastic channel today and, wow, fun recipes! I am no youtuber and I have heard the video editing process is extensive, but... if ever in the future you would be so inclined, it would be GREAT to have your recipes NUMBERED! That would be so great for us just learning :). Thanks again and great job!!
Hi Katelyn. I absolutely loved this video for so many reasons. First you gave us some great tips; second, we got some amazing recipes to make ahead and freeze; and lastly and my favorite was the fact that you cook for your dad. I love that about you. You and I have that in common. I know he loves and appreciates that you do this for him. I hope all are well in your family. Have a great week, sweetheart.
You are always so sweet Cindy. I wish he lived closer to come over for dinner more often, so freezer meals are the next best thing for him! I hope you're having a great week so far!
I just found you today. I also watch Julia Pacheco! Thank you for all the freezer meal ideas! I am at home but have 25 piano students,so I have a busy week. I'm looking for shortcuts, freezer meals and crockpot meals to help out.
Thank you for making tatortot hotdish the right Minnesotan way! I see everyone make it wrong 🤦♀️ also, why does it always taste better the 2nd or 3rd day?! We buy a whole cow at a time, we are currently waiting for our cow and we will get a whole pig in March.. Maybe it's just a Minnesota thing that we buy our meat from farmers?! So much cheaper and better meat even if it's in bulk! Just make sure you have a big enough freezer for it 🤣
Haha yes, totally have to make it the Minnesotan way. It does seem like more people in this area buy meet in bulk. Maybe because there are more local and smaller farmers??
I have a hard time finding freezer meals that sound like something we would enjoy, but girl, you have several in here that I'd like to try. Thanks for this video! God bless!
I’ve literally been searching RUclips for WEEKS for good instructions and with recipes! Thank you so much! I’m going to make all of these. I got a deep freeze for Christmas and I’ve been looking for you apparently lol 100% cant thank you enough. My girl just turned one and it’s hard to keep up with her lol.
Awe this comment makes me so happy! I will try to keep sharing more freezer meals and easy recipes 😊And I totally feel you on trying to keep up with kids...its a challenge for sure!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼This was wonderful and so helpful! Thank you for putting in so much effort with all you have going on as a wife, mama and everything else in life due the holidays. Your recipes always turn out so great and don’t require a lot of extravagant ingredients. I so appreciate you! Have a blessed day!😊
Yummy on all the recipes especially the chicken fajita and over rice yummy Thank you for sharing Katelyn have a blessed day stay safe and healthy. Fabulous video Thank 🙏❤🙏❤🙏
I wish I had an extra freezer to do these. I've always done food prep but we are in an rv now with no space. Can't wait to have the room for food prep again. Thanks for sharing.
That would definitely be a challenge to work with a small freezer. I'm sure you will soon have more room to be able to food prep again. Thanks so much for watching 💜
Im so ready to be barefoot, pregnant making freezer meals for the fam. I’m trying that tater tot one as soon as I get home! I love anything with potatoes and cheese 😩

Katelyn, I just finish prepping 2 months worth of meals off of your videos. Thank u so much. My husband and I are trying for our 4th baby and I usually get really sick, so I’m prepping for that.
I’ve had hyperemesis gravidarum with two of my pregnancies and it usually starts around week 6, and lasts for two months so this is a must for me also!
@@TT-vx2wr I’ve had hyperemesis with all 4 of my babies. It’s no fun. We are pregnant with our 4th and I’m so sick and my husband keeps reminding me everyday how thankful he is that I prepped these meals.
I have made your Sloppy Joes recipe it is delicious. My husband and I like your stir fry also. If u have some more stir fries, I would love to see your videos, with recipe.
Hi, I’m only cooking for two, how many are your meals for? Also I’m from England so can you tell me what rotel is as I have never heard of it?. Love your meals by the way
Love your freezer meal videos. Those green bag holders have a clip on them. Is there a reason you don't use them when filling your bags? Just curious cuz I want to buy some, but if you don't use them because they don't work or break easily I don't want to waste my money.
I love them and would highly recommend them! The only reason I fold the bags over like that is because I don’t like the edges of my bags to get messy. When I fold the tops over, the top inch or so stays nice and clean so it just makes it easier to seal. But using the bag holders with the clips works well too. I’ve used them both ways. Worth every penny if you make freezer meals often 😊
These look quite tasty. Thanks for sharing. I do wonder why you (and most other people, it seems) usually use chicken breasts instead of thighs. Do you prefer the flavor of the breast? I find thighs have a much better taste and are usually less expensive. To each his/her own, but I was just curious.
I like both! I just always have these in my freezer and my husband also tends to prefer chicken breasts over thighs. I do prefer dark meat in a lot of recipes though. You could definitely sub thighs in most of these recipes though 😊
They have definitely gone up a ton in price. I have been using up a lot of the chicken that I had stocked up in my deep freezer. I'm hoping chicken comes down in price soon since it's so expensive.
You are not supposed to wash raw chicken. It spreads bacteria. Some of us leave the fat on the chicken for a more balanced meal with a lower glycemic index.
Easy and delicious freezer meals while saving money on processed foods. Well, I'm sorry to be a Debbie Downer here but, if you are spending money and using canned cream of mushroom soup, canned beans, taco and ranch seasoning packets, bottled BBQ sauce, bottled Italian dressing, queso among other stuff I'm sure...well sweetie, that's all pretty processed. Where's the savings? Why not make it yourself? For the first 30 mins I watched...some of that stuff is not hard to make from scratch and it's healthier for you and your family. Plus.... using chicken that you didn't trim the fat from? Why? 🤢. I stopped watching after 30 mins.... I just couldn't. I'll stick to watching Becky at Acre Homestead for scratch home cooking freezer meals. If she buys it from a store it's because she couldn't make it herself. Best of luck to you.
@@nicolem.7116 How many ways can you give brutal honesty without sounding a bit condescending? It's called BRUTAL for a reason. Here's my brutal honesty for you. I don't sugar coat my comments with adults....she's not an 8 y/o. I call it as I see it. She prefaced her video by saying how terrible processed foods are and then used a plethora of those items to make her meals. That is not my OPINION, that is FACT. My comment was meant to HELP her grow as a RUclipsr. She's gotta walk the walk if she's going to talk the talk. That's why I apologized and wished her luck with her channel. If I was merely trying to insult her, I wouldn't have done either one of those things. So, respectfully, YOU do you....and I'll do me. Thank you.
@@chimimi1969 I don't actually disagree with you, in terms of factual truth about the video. And you're certainly welcome to speak your mind -- I'd be a hypocrite to say otherwise. But if you were on the other side of your first comment, would you think someone using that phrasing was trying in good faith to help you, or trying to cut you down for their own amusement? Because the tone read like the second one, and if that wasn't your intention, I'm trying to give some constructive criticism of my own. Doesn't hurt to tell people what you liked, too, not just what you thought was lacking -- and if you watched for a full half hour and thought it was worth your time to leave feedback, I have to assume you saw something positive to talk about, too. Consider sharing that next time along with the jabs.
Please clean your chicken first (by cleaning I mean take off all that nasty fat and any veins that the chicken may have). That is a problem I have with crock pot meals people don’t clean their chicken 😩
This was one of the best freezer meal videos I have watched. Thank you for all of the ideas and tips!!

Yea im from the east coast and never heard of it until i saw it on the Duggers (19 kids and counting) and thought she made it up
For my Sloppy Joe's I add onions, pepper, 1 can of tomato soup and 1 tsp of mustard to 1 lb of hamb.....VERY VERRY GOOD
Sounds delicious! I will have to give that one a try!
Look into adding baking soda to your ground beef before browning. It keeps the moisture in the meat so it’s not swimming in juice.
These look, absolutely delicious. I cannot wait to try them.
You have the best video on freezer meals! Thank you so much for sharing!

Doesn't anyone ever clean chicken prior to cooking?
How long is the freezer life for these? I’m off during the summer and back to work during the school year.
nice job
I think "hot dish" is a regional term but the concept is universal. Could be known as casserole, bake, covered dish, ragout, 9 x 13, etc
U have some great freeze meal.
Thank you Debra!

I'm trying the Mississippi chicken, and wondering what are good side dishes, please?
I love to serve our mississippi chicken over rice or mashed potatoes with green beans on the side!
It seems you need to thaw the chicken though before you put it in the crockpot-at lease until it is thawed for safety reasons.
We also keep cooked taco meat in the freezer.

Do you have to defrost each meal overnight or can you just throw it into the slow cooker straight from the freezer?
More often than not, I throw mine into the crockpot frozen and then I just make sure to cook it on the high setting
How do I access the recipes?
Chicken Breasts must be alot cheaper where u live then they are here in Ontario Canada 🇨🇦. Couldn't afford to make all these chicken breast recipes...
