- Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you these new 21 meals and 8 recipes freezer meal recipes! Freezer meal prep with me! I started out planning freezer meals more as a ton of pre-made casseroles but then it turned into a bunch of dump and go recipes that were way more convenient to put together as I near 41 weeks pregnant! haha Thanks so much for hanging out with me and I hope this gave you some motivation to get some meals in your freezer for your postpartum prep!

I went into labor with my 4th while making freezer meals at 36 weeks. Prepped half the meals one night, labored and delivered the next day and home 24 hours later to finish prepping the rest of the meals. I wasn't about to let all that food go to waste 🤣🙌

Angel and PB&J Tube- I'm sorry to hear of the loss of you Dad and your Mom, respectively. It is never easy to say goodbye to the people who raised us, and loved us, from before we were born. I pray you find comfort in the memories you have, of the times to spent together.
This should serve as a reminder to us all, to spend as much time as we can with those we love. Those things that we think are so important, that we can't visit family, won't seem so important, when our loved one is gone, and our chance to be together, once more, is gone!

Put your ziploc bags into a pitcher and fold the top down over the sides! That's what I do for my freezer meals with it :)

My husband passed away one month ago today and so there’s not been many things to laugh about but when your bag of pork sprung a leak and then it sort of plopped out of the top of bag onto the counter and you threw your head back and said Lord help me, I nearly lost it. Funny stuff. So thank you! 😂

I did not do freezer meals at any of my pregnancies! I was too tired and in pain with my hips ripping apart and just left it for a "later me" problem. Glad you can stick it out!!
Try using a bowl that's what I use to hold the bag it helps. Just open the bag up a bit then put in a bowl n add ur ingredients it works ok...

So grateful for your best postpartum tip! Made freezer meals based off of your videos and so glad I did. Your videos are helpful for those that have babies that spend time in NICU as well. My husband and I have avoided fast food and too much time in the kitchen so we can spend more time at the hospital with our son. Super grateful for this mom tip ❤

I was really expecting you to have that baby during the hurricane! I grew up in a ranch and our cows and horses always had their babies when storms rolled in! You are amazing!
Just a tip for opening those jars: flip the upside down and (while holding them, not on the counter!) smack them on the back! It releases the seal and bam unscrewing the lid is easy peasy :)

Fantastic ! This is really invaluable because when you are in those final weeks you do need to keep busy and you also need to have that rest insured for after when the crash after delivery happens.

I put the bags in a pitcher and wrap the top around the top edge of the pitcher when I fill my bags!!

Love all these! Quick tip, when making the ricotta mixture, put it all into a ziplock bag, snip a corner off and pipe the ricotta onto the pasta, so much easier and the noodles don't slide around!

Use a plastic pitcher to hold the freezer bags! You may have already gotten this, but I saw frugal fit mom do it on her channel. She just lines the pitcher with her bag and folds the tops over the rim.

To open a jar I recommend that you hold the jar with one hand and hit the bottom of the jar with the other hand 🤚🏻. This will help to open the jar.

Hi Kim, to open a jar use an old fashioned can opener with the bottle opener on one end. Use the bottle opener end under the lid one or twice and it will easily open the jars. It works much better than those gripper things. I love your postings. ❤
As a veggie hack for lasagne or pasta sauce I add one bag of plain cauliflower rice for each pound of beef I'm using and I cook it all together. Stretches the beef and adds a veggie serving without anyone knowing!
I've done this with zucchini and pears too. Similar texture and no one could tell.
