Great video Lads, I think Robs takes the win for me I like that darker look. For the challenge. I think you both start with a white base coat and choose the other person's colours. However you can NOT use the airbrush. You have to paint the lure with other objects. Paintbrush, tooth picks, cotton wool, butcher's twine. Anything you can find you can use except that Airbrush. The airbrush can only be used for the base coat. Good Luck
Both look great! Partial to yours as it has a lighter touch, but his would be great in low light conditions. For the challenge, maybe put 10 random colors of paint in a box, take turns choosing, then paint your lures using the same stencil packs, but with your own ideas. Then go fish them and most fish caught wins.

I will still post my idea😁 I think you should make a color wheel, spin the wheel 3 times for only 3 colors and you have to use only those 3 colors however you like and you get 1 stencil. Both have to use the exact same thing. This can be something you do as a duo video or solo , call it something like 3 color Tuesday or Thursday ! I think its a great way to show you only need a few things to make a great bait! Keep up the great job buddy, your definitely one of the best out here teaching us relatively new painters. Good idea I think would be awesome is use a little bigger air compressor and see who could do the best pattern on just one full tank of air, I think that would be pretty cool
I vote Zach's lure. I like the lighter color and I think paint being slightly off can be helpful. For a challenge: you have to recreate lures you guys like to use (that weren't originally made by you). The winner is whose lure is most like their chosen reference.
Zach I would be able to catch fish on either one of the lures y'all painted and for the challenge each one take the same blank and paint it the way you want and let the viewers pick the winner. Let Rob get some time with the brush---but show him the video your wife did on her first paint because it was great!!!!!
Dude did way better than I thought for his first time. Never tried but am looking at getting into it. Really dig the content man. Challenge idea. Spinning wheel with tons of different color options. 5 total spins. However many colors you can fit on the spinning wheel and color choice will make it pretty interesting. Add 2 wild card spots on the wheel. One could be doing a bunch of push ups or something. Or.... hear me out.... the other could be a hammer. Jkjk. I think you won the challenge though. I'd throw both of those cranks for smallies this spring.

You both pick the same pattern but you both independently pick your own colors without the other knowing. Try to see how close you can get to both lures being identical.
Also maybe you could do a challenge where you both are limited to only a couple primary colors and you have to mix the colors to paint the bait you can’t just use the primary color. The challenge is to make the bait look decent lol.
