As of 2023 they're still original, including the ones inside the Scandic hotel. All the escalators now bear a safety sticker from Motum, a Swedish company which is now part of Mitsubishi.

The elevators at this mall is a Mitsubishi Europe hybrid called GPE. Traction machine, controller, electrical and doors are Japanese and the rest of the equipment is European made. They are not as high quality as original Mitsubishi (GPS to compare). I work for the company that installs and maintains Mitsubishis in Norway. You are most welcome back and I will show you around some of our high end elevators.

So that explains why the model name is listed as GPS-E on Uniheis's reference list on their website. Do you know the model name for the Mitsubishi hydraulic elevator which only serves 3 floors?

No one can compete with Mitsubishi in terms of quality.

Turkish Elevators Yeah, no one can beat Mitsubishi. If u compare a 6 yrs Schindler escalators wt a 12 yrs old Mitsubishi escalator, Mitsubishi is more smoother n quiet than d Schindler

Well... The Schindler 7000 series are much more efficient then a Mitsubishi and is another reliable lift sooo.... that's one thing that can compete with Mitsubishi interms of lifts.

Mitsubitshi elevators have such a nice chime, but they seem to have been disabled in these lifts. I've been in a mitsubitshi once, and the thing i remember about it was the chime and luxery, high quality appearance of the elevator. Mitsubitshi elevators are not that common, but one of their european representitives is the EVLI company in the netherlands.

Why this elevator has no chimes unlike other countries such as Japan, Thailand, Indonesia?
