I got lucky on that one. Now all I have to do is figure out why a brand new weed whacker refuses to start, and, on the rare occasion when it does start, why it won't run for more than a minute or two.

@@SuperHurdman What it does when it's working right is prevent the engine from running if oil is too low. I don't know how common malfunctions in the sensor circuit are, but they're common enough that several people have had the same problem and recommended disconnecting it. I'm old enough that checking oil in engines frequently is part of my upbringing. I figure I can still remember to do that.
I do. After a career in flying airplanes, checklists, written or mental, are part of my routine. For the sawmill it's GOWT: Gas, oil, water, tension. Famous pilot's lament as he walks away from a dead-stick landing: But I checked the oil yesterday.
I learned the following from Sawing with Sandy YT. The pinging you can hear with your engine idling is your centrificel clutch edging to engage, this is not good for your clutch. There is a black idle screw on the side of the carb (may need a flash lite) turn it left CCW a quarter turn till it pings no more. Yee haw, some logs to mill.
I am also an ole Fart (82 in May) I just got my new 130Max set up with a power lift and digital read out cause my mill is off pad quite a bit. Haven’t cut yet due to freezing rain. I absolutely love your videos because of your comical way of editing, especially when you goof a little. Thank you so much. Keepum coming.
Glad to see the mill back up and running!! Now get back to work 🤣
This is absolutely one of my favorites! "Hot Diggity Damn" is a childhood staple 😄💜
Glad that worked, looking forward to some milling, free logs delivered,it doesn't get any better 😄
same problem I had with my pressure washer engine
Good going getting that fixed. I have no idea what the little box may be but obviously it isn't needed to run.
Glad it was a relatively simple fix!

glad the engine problem was a easy fix for you. good score on the free logs to
Missed your milling vids. :D
Thanks. I missed milling. Videos will be coming more frequently now.
So what part on the engine failed exactly?
Whatever that shiny box between low-oil sensor and ignition system is.
@@OregonOldTimer It is their for a reason may be a good idea to see what it is used for! Other than pissing you off when it malfunctions!

Do you not do a PDI (pre daily Inspection) every day before you start your day on the equipment you are going to use that day?

It pings right after a cold start for a few seconds. Idle is set correctly.
