how to color comic books
It is truly fascinating watching you work on the flatting! It makes me appreciate the practice it takes to get faster. This takes me forever right now!

What settings you use to not color outside the lines?
Maybe I missed it, but how do u select but not paint over ur previous colours laid down, when doing the flats
How much back and forth on revisions after you turn something like this gets turned in?
You mentioned that you moved to a flatter coloring style. Why did you do that? Curious.
Flatter on this piece? Can you link the time stamp?
This one is on the cartoony side so it made more sense.
Generally speaking, it always depends on the project.

Yeah I didn't intend to mean flatter on all projects, but I used to tend to over render at times IMO. I was working on specific projects that were flatter at the time.
@@colorwithkurt I see. I was thinking maybe you started to prefer a flatter style. Tastes change. I know I used to love the flatter style but I’m getting into rendered and painterly styles lately.
Como faz para esconder a seleção?
Why don't you flat with the pen tool? Is there a reason not to?
Lasso is faster for me. What reason would you recommend the pen tool?
@@colorwithkurt that's the way that I taught myself to do it. It's also a lot faster for me personally. Is there a downside to doing it that way? Besides personal preference? Also, where do you recommend I go to find work doing flats or digital inking? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
The red was better
:( I thought your 50% off sale was going on until the 10th? Oh well (pouty).
There was a link, in one of your videos the other day, to your Coloring Comics with Photoshop Online Viewing + Downloadable Videos for 50% off for $64.50. I may have misread it, but I thought it was a sale from the 2nd through the 10th. Today you have a sale for 10% off so it looks to me like the 50% off sale has ended. I had planned to grab the course when my next paycheck hit before the 10th. So I was just being pouty about it. Apologies ^_^`
Thank you! I found the announcement video just before I saw this reply. Apologies for my confusion!
Purchased this today! Excited to jump in and learn some new tricks!
