Dark and Darker Datamined - Test Server 3

My thoughts on what Sdf said about the test server's "client-side prediction"
I think that the server handles your inventory. By adding a "client-side prediction", that means that your local machine predicts what your inventory should be and displays that.
The server still keeps track of your inventory to compare with the client side prediction and will correct it if the prediction is off.
Meaning you do not have to ask the server immediately every time you want to interact with your inventory, reducing latency.
I am not familiar enough with client-side prediction systems to know what they can and cannot cut out. Because if they leave too much to the client, hackers could modify stuff.
But I assume it will reduce the amount of times you move stuff in your inventory and it teleports back to its original spot.

They have a left and right strafe animation for swimming too
I wonder how the rest of the chest up animations will translate over. My best guess is that you will have restricted actions like the ladders.

I use datamining tools specific to the Unreal Engine, from a quick google search Foxhole is a Unreal Engine 4 Game.
FModel is great for UE5 games, it works for UE4 games too (but I have not tested it)

About the 'Where to start" part, people mostly use tools other people develop (usually engine specific), otherwise you gotta make scripts and whatnot yourself to de-compile the assets.
And for the "How did you learn" it was a painful crawl across google and old game cracking/ datamining forums after I saw Ryan6DaysAWeek's datamining videos.

Keep on sleeping. IM is never ever going to buff fighter, especially because they have the highest player share right now (around 18.5% as of HF 54).
+ that would be a broken af perk, anything move speed related is extremely strong.
That barb skill would be interesting, but they are focusing on other things right now so don't expect new content for barbarian.
