Idk if anyone remembers but when Zeyzal did BTR he was talking about the roster swaps on C9 too and how the academy team was playing better against LCS teams. Seems like Jensen has a different story though.
Best episode by far, definitely refreshing to hear a player be open and honest with his feelings and opinions. I believe Dom is usually pretty brutally honest with his opinions, which some people would say, is toxic. Although I think this is far from the truth and is better for the community as a whole. Seeing Jensen also be blunt about some of these same things should let everyone else see that there are others who share the same views on things. Great Episode man. Good Shit!
Thorin had me dying this episode. Talking shit about Broxah in front of Jensen, the yASSuo / Ryoma comments, and just asked genuinely interesting questions. Good stuff
On the Doublelift vs Tactical, if you have a recruit vs a superstar and you can't say for sure the superstar is better, then why pay the premium price for the superstar? Especially since DL had not been motivated. Makes a lot of sense for the coach to choose the motivated rookie that looks just as good as your superstar.
I dont think you drop DL because tactical was equivalent you drop him because he makes drafting one dimensional and prevents styles to match meta and counters. If you know the entire game is focused around DL and every gank is going there you are going to lose in bo5 format against top teams. Going against top teams they need some edge. IG had specific weaknesses that matched well into TL but because G2 could counter draft better they smashed them. To sum DL shouldnt have been dropped on the risk of tactical but rather because he demands a single play style and prevents even doing jungle mid focus.
@@MrThedumbbunny Also IG had some inner conflict and some sloppy plays. I sometime re-check the highlights and forget IG would throw after getting baron and being up a decent amount of gold. A lot of that series was IG having a strong lead and then throwing late game.
Yep, especially if the rookie deserves a spot, dl its good and i like him but sometimes is just a pretty selfish person and didnt give a ruck about the games, so yep, let the person who really wishes to be there have a chance
