This is actually a dance focused song so it's not the perfect song to judge their vocals. EXO has great vocalists so it would be great if you could react to "really I didn't know" by exo's chen and baekhyun. It's a great song and they can really showcase their vocals because they are not dancing.

@@fateenallisyah i know way more than you can imagine. Dimash can't compare to Jongdae, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo or Junmyeon. He's a high tenor yet he literally can't support above Eb4. EXO's main vocalists are all consistent with A4/Bb4. Baekhyun's head voice can rival Dimash's to an extent and all their lows are better than his. Especially Jongdae's. Not to mention the difference in agility.
EXO is known for their vocals and I think no one would question their position as a top vocal group in Kpop. They have outstanding technique that is needed for their job - most singers wouldn’t last long doing what they do without proper technique. They are vocally very versatile even though the main singers have their own voice tone.

Exo have a lot of rnb songs or ballads where they highlight their vocal abilities more. Universe, Tell me what is love, their acoustic medley in soul, crying out by do, chens solo album and his song cherry blossom love song, baekhyuns and chens really i didnt know are some examples

It's a LIVE performance from their concerts, they have this awesome segment when they just sit down and sing different songs! Believe me you'll love it! EXO are one of the MOST POWERFUL vocal groups ever in KPOP so yeah....I can't wait for that reaction!
Something that always astounds me (although EXO's vocals in general always astound me) is their live performance of Call Me Baby - Lady Luck in Japan. I think you'd get a kick out of it.

I know it might not be the typical style you react to normally, but I'd love to see your reaction/analysis of Unleash The Archers, in particular the song Awakening. It is a power metal song and the vocals are clean (with one small break down of screaming vocals that lasts only a few seconds). Brittney Slayes is the lead vocalists stage name and she is amazing.
I think that you would enjoy "Exo's amazing vocals" and "Exo acoustic medley in Seoul", I think those two videos really show EXO's vocal ability. I love your reactionsss

Thanks for the reaction. Since its the first time you are reacting to Exo, I think the live performance of tempo might not be the best choice. its a great song but just not one that can actually demonstrate their vocal ability well but I understand why you got many request for this song reaction, since its their new comeback song. As a vocal coach you really went into detail and gave good comments. Maybe you could react to Exo's accoustic medley next time.🙏🏻

for kpop boy groups, the really great vocalists for me are exo, super junior, shinee, tvxq and jyj (who used to be a part of tvxq). there's some other groups like btob and nct that are pretty good as well.

The staggered breathing is actually part of why kpop groups get so big. Well a big part of its dancing. Pretty much every group dances and a lot have really intense and complex choreo. Having more members means not only can you have more complex and better looking dances but also enough voices to make the song still sound good while exciting the dances. American groups don't really dance a lot so there has never been a reason really for a group to have 5 or so members. In Korea it's pretty normal for a kpop group to have 7-11 members (they can also have more or less than this)

I would have suggested you reacted to "Really I Didn't Know" before checking out any of their main releases which are typically more dance and performance focused. "Really I Didn't Know" is performed by 2 of the main vocalists on the same show that SoHyang performed Arirang, You Raise Me Up, etc.
Fanchants are NO JOKE either for any Kpop groups or solo artists
