So I’m reading a book called “Get tabbed”, written by a former RI. In one of the pages, the author said (and I’m gonna paraphrase): “Don’t start with learning about ambushes, contact drill, instead first learn how to write the OP order.” Would you agree with that statement in terms for those who are training for and/or hoping to go to ranger school?
The same way you can walk on to ranger school, can you walk on to RTAC? Is there anything you need besides obviously the packing list, unit approval, and all of the admin paperwork?
As a power lifter I’m getting my weight down and transitioned to a lot more cardio. Would you recommend I stick with calisthenics like dips, push ups, pull ups, or still work in the weights?
I recommend a lot more calisthenics, but maintain your heavy lifts but not as frequently as your used to. Maybe do heavy sessions (max) once or twice a month. Focus more on a higher rep range to build more endurance and lean out your muscle. You don't need as much brute strength to be successful in RS.
Thanks for doing this. I love hearing your ranger school stories and advice. It's inspiring and makes me want to get after it. I hope you win BRC.

Think about doing Q&A's for the other schools you've done. There may be questions you didn't know people had.
Absolutely! I’m totally down!
Did you say one time you had a Ranger prep workout program on another video one time?
Yep, same one! grittysoldier.com/products/13-week-ranger-school-fitness-program
