I don't think my Pakistani parents and her parents would of been happy with us. Anyway I'm grateful Allah didn't let it happen as not a lot of good things I've been told about her.

I can listen whole day to mufti speech ❤ I learned alot about Islam by watching his videos.....no one teach me about Islam..i have no Muslim friends in reality..i took my shahada online in 2k18 in the month of Ramadan..There are no Muslims in my place 75% are Christians...I'm all alone being a Muslim in my locality....I'm still learning lots about Islam by watching Islamic online videos..inshaAllah i hope one day I can share my revert story (the night Allah was sending me a miracle)...May Allah(SWT) make it easy for me inshaAllah❤

This came on my homepage at the most perfect time. My parents rejected a proposal with someone whom I want to marry on the basis they just dont like the guy and his family and feel they are not "rich" enough. May Allah guide them

If my parents doesn't like someone, i trust their instinct because they have more experience with people than me

But may Allah soften your parents heart for you and give them ability to have better decisions for you and themselves
honestly brother, i felt that as well that my parents know the best they have more experience of the world. However, as 3 years went by I realized the reasons are notIslamicc based. - he has to give 300k dollar mahr, he has to have this much money, this big of a house. I personally don't like materialistic things as what my parents are demanding. Another thing telling family and friends I am engaged to someone else sending my pictures to them without my permission also just really ruins it for me. Shukran for your duas

JazakAllah brought me to tears. I have been struggling with this for 2 years now and I have tried everything how my father wants. Done istikhara nd gotten istikhara done also but he has come about to say no.

So true when he speaks about us being embarrassed in front of others if we do wrong but yet in front of God we are not. That shows we have forgotten God knows all and sees all or maybe its cause we are more concerned as humans as to who is in front of us in person. Remember people, don't worry about those on earth that judge us for their judgement is meaningless. God is who we should be aware of doing wrong in front of. I am so blessed to know God is merciful. I am trying to better my mind in remembering him when I'm about to do something wrong, thoughts of him enter my mind and I will either stop but their are times I have ignored.

Thank you to both mufti menk and Ali Dawah for highlighting such an important issue which is usually swept under the carpet in the hope it will go away. It's best to tackle the issues as it's just society creating obstacles for marriage as opposed to religion. Society doesn't do much to facilitate marriages, all it does is make marriage seem like a fairytale to the youth.. something unattainable unless you have all the credentials, it shouldn't be like this! Make it easy for the Muslim ummah. The elders shouldn't just command respect, provide your wisdom and guidance to the youth and help create a sustainable society based on sound Islamic principles.

I find myself wondering where I went wrong. I never doubted Islam but I strayed so far. May Allah forgive me.
This video gave me the answer to my question of how it started. When I was 17 I remember walking alone at night crying after an iftar. I remember the feeling of my heart becoming hardened. I cryed and walked for miles. And I was never quit the same since. The reason was because the iftar I had just left doubled as a sit down with a Muslim girl and her family. I just remember her uncles telling me how unworthy I was because of financial reasons. They rejected me and belittled me. Me and the sister were already talking on the phone and we wanted to get married so that we wouldn’t fall into zina. That night made my heart so so hard and bitter. I slipped out the back door while they were in the other room loudly discussing how unworthy I was. I couldn’t take it.
Fitna followed!
I didn’t realize it at the time. My entire focus shifted to making money. I became obsessed with making money out of spite. I turned to haram things for the sake of money.
Just as the Prophet (saw) said: my life has been full of fitna stemming from this one night. I came to tears watching this video because i realize now where it started. 😢

I liked the introduction by mufti menk when he said Peace upon The Prophet AND His Family (pbuthem) not just The Prophet (pbuhahf). When you ask Allah to send Peace and Blessings on The Prophet (pbuhahf) you MUST include His Househould (as) or it does not count.

What is the manner of the salat upon you, Ahl al-bayt, for Allah has taught us how to send salam unto you (Ahl al-bayt)? He replied, 'Say: 'O Allah! Send salat upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, in exactly the same manner as You sent salat upon Ibrahim and upon the family of Ibrahim. You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious. O Allah! Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, in exactly the same manner as You blessed Ibrahim and the family of Ibrahim. You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious."

Anomaly1111 Yes, I never dissagreed to sending salawat upon the Prophet(sallahu 'alayhi Wa sallam), and that salawat Ibrahimiyyah is the best way of sending blessing upon Him(sallahu 'alayhi Wa sallam). What I wanted proof of is that it is *invalid* to only send blessings upon Him(sallahu 'alayhi Wa sallam).
He wrote
"When you ask Allah to send Peace and blessings on The Prophet(sallahu alayhi Wa sallam) You MUST include His Household"
