I've been so eager to try the game! I've watchd a lot of your timelapses from time to time, and seeing small glimpses of the gameplay really got me interested. i installed it tonight, but ill play it tomorrow

I hope this game succeeds for your sake. They've got a skilled animator on their hands that's for sure.
Just a month ago and years prior all I knew was to use Mixamo animations for my Blender 3D models. I'm way closer to manually creating all of my very own unique 3D animations for my human character models. I can actually follow your video here and I know what all you're doing mostly. For me that's a huge leap forward simply to understand what an animator is either saying or doing. I owe it all to the Blender Community, and also to a dope AI Mocap tool known as Pixcap. If it wasn't for their UI being so user friendly and easy to learn to utilize I would still be lost regarding not fully comprehending what a graph editor is, what the Blender timeline can truly do etc...
I'm sure more space could be saved if the time control buttons were moved to the action editor as well. Then one could get rid of the timeline. I really hope for future versions of the blender. Your videos are a real treasure, thank you!
That's what I've been saying as well. Literally the only reason I use the Timeline editor is because the record button is on it. Well, and the keying sets (which I almost always use the exact same one every time). Both can be added to either Curve editor or at least the Dope sheet.

Love your tutes. You made a comment in the interview with CG Cookie 'why not?' I have been saying that to my students for nearly 40 years it appears we have a similar philosophy with the exception you are lots more talented, although in my favour I am still a full time teacher in secondary teaching kids computing, English and Blender and am a few months short of 70. Why not?

I see your space switching tool, I can't wait !!!!! When it will be available ?? I'm using this method in my workflow, but it's sometimes time-consuming without scripting tool.

Any automation tools someone could use to speed up some of the work? Do you use any or you prefer to use vanilla blender?

Love these kinds of videos. Btw I enjoyed your course very much but i have to say that the learning curve drastically increased in chapter 8. A run/walk cycle is a cakewalk in comparison to that chapter. Kinda wished there would be something in between in terms of skill level like Trident jumping from one place to another.

Hi Pierrick, I'm doing your squirrel animation, do you always press "I" to input whole character key frames during blocking phase? What about the ones in between? I don't see you inputting whole character keyframes during graph editor phase. Where in the pipeline do you press I and where do you let auto-keyframe do it's job?
