I totally agree about Luna definitely almost immediately thought she had some kind of depression but also didn't want to say anything because people tend to get really pissy if you diagnose fictional characters with things yeah inaccurately

Freedom wasn’t stolen, the whole story would’ve been different, after they killed, the scavengers might’ve moved on from that, and many of the characters now might have never been born; like cricket, or Luna, or blue or swordtail, or Lady Jewel, or lady scarab because the breath of evil had a lot to play in the story. He might’ve ended up with a sandwing or a rain wing, meaning he would’ve never been able to expand to conquer the entire continent, and then fall to flame silk.
Yessss another person who loves Bullfrog! He's utterly hilarious, I hope he gets a happy ending to his "arc" sometime hehe

Hey I’m really confused about Bullfrog, is he a mudwing? And if so, i feel like i remember his name being mentioned in Winter Turning, except in there he was a rainwing. Or a different rainwing called bullfrog, because of this i am confused.. (its mentioned in winter turning, page 109)
This book was an emotional rollercoaster for me, definitely one of my favourites. My only complaint is that Luna doesn’t really have much of a character apart from being (maybe) mentally ill and an artist.
This book was a snooze fest for me. I only got emotional when Moon and Tsunami's flashbacks occured

It was amazing, I really liked the book. Cottonmouth was a good villain, although he was a megalomaniac and an egoist, he is the first big bad that is or was a human, humans begin to have importance in the franchise. Freedom is one of my favorite characters, it's sad that it ended that way, but at least she won't have to put up with that villain anymore. Pineapple is also one of my favorite characters, which I liked, and I liked his friendship with Luna, also that Sky could have dragon friends. I would have liked to see how the members of the stealth team interacted more, such as how Tsunami would treat Wren or how Moon treats Sky, there was a lack of more interaction between the team. All crazy and evil rulers are always punished with face-burning acid. And Wasp received a punishment worse than death.

I wasn’t sad, to be honest. I was just happy that Luna could finally get out of that cave, especially after spending half the book in it.

I’ve already said what I dislike about the book on 2 or 3 videos so I’m not gonna do it here other than say that it is… chaotic and I felt like the entire thing was just a dream.
I almost cried in the middle of class while reading the scene where Dusky has the memory of his father.

We need Bullfrog to be a main character, it’s possible we could also dive into the family tree system of mud wings a little more and see the queen in action. There is so much missed stuff on Mudwings that we mind as well make a winglet for Bullfrog’s character.

I can agree with the scorching events being explained. I honestly loved that. Since it was first mentioned in whatever book it was, I always wanted to learn more about it, and I'm so glad that Tui decided to explain it in depth.

If I’m being honest, I was kinda bored in this book. I know this might be an unpopular opinion but the only book that I was really into in this 3rd arc was the dangerous gift. I just don’t understand the hype I guess.
Same. I mean, I kinda liked The Hive Queen, but the other books outside Dangerous Gift were slow for me.
Me too. If I'm being honest, the third arc never really grabbed me either. The stories were fine, but the first half of the arc felt sorta like aimless wandering, and the second half feels like a completely different arc. The individual books were good but as an Arc the connections were kinda weak.
This was the best book, It made me cry.
I want a back story on Bullfrog so we can know what happened his to siblings or why he left his them with seemingly very little convincing
I feel so sad for Lizard/Freedom, but it was the only way for the othermind to be destroyed. Freedom didn't deserve that, but Cottonmouth had to be an idiot and did horrible things l!

I was really sad when Freedom died, too. (Actually i dont really know whether that's a good way to term it since she already died, BUT) She was kind of funny, and also so sad and didn't really understand anything. She only had a perspective from a human. Why is Tui making me feel bad for a fictional dead dragon- AAAA

I hated this book actually- probably my least favorite out of all the wings of Fire books. Tui just- didn’t do her best? It felt so bland and random. Almost like all the flaws in her previous books just went ‘boom!’ And flourished in this. Great video though!
Book 10, book 11, book 12, are all way worse

Yeah…this is the only book in the series that really disappointed me. It just didn’t feel like Wings of Fire, and I didn’t like how rushed the ending was for a series finale.

All of these events might have never happened in different ways. 1) Blue didn't listen to the idea of running away and just turned himself in. 2) Burnet and Silverspot never had an egg with Admiral. 3) Queen Wasp was never born😛
I kinda hoped winter would have been part of these events.
Yeah I thought it was kinda weird that with the whole scavenger thing Tui was setting up, the one dragon who has studied scavengers the most was left out, meanwhile Lynx was just sorta... there.
(Then again I do have a Winter bias, so take it with a grain of salt)

When I was reading about freedom I almost cried lol
I did cry a bit and I wish I did because I'm stupid for not being someone trying to care enough for freedom yet I'm trying to force myself to cry for it.
I didn't like The Flames of Hope at all. To me, it was messy and felt like filler. I was expecting some giant climactic battle or something but instead it was HOURS of Luna sitting in a hole with a bratty child that can't appreciate the gay ship that ended up being the oh scene in the book I wanted to draw. Seriously, Lizard is overrated by so many people if you ask me. She clearly was no better a person than Darkstalker, but almost no one completely excuses Darkstalker's actions for how tragic he is, whereas Lizard (Freedom is a dumb name, nothing will change my mind) is clearly seen as horribly tragic and someone who deserved to live on.
