    Looking forward to seeing what you do with the contents!
    I'll be picking up the set once the Christmas budgeting has been sussed, splitting with a mate who im convincing to join me in learning the game

      Thanks man, I'm currently working on the ruins. There's lots of components so just clipping them out and tidying the mold lines takes ages!
      When you do get the box I'd appreciate you using my affiliate links 🙏 😁

      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes I feel that. I cleaned up a ruins of middle earth set last week and it took hours!

      That’s a really nice terrain set, pretty straight forward assembling too 😊

    Class, I can't wait to see what you do with the terrain. Plastic bozza would be sweeet.

      That and a plastic Faramir kit with mount and armour options. Pleeeeease GW! Working on the ruins at the mo. Lots of bits all labelled differently and I’ve gone rogue and clipped them out without using the instructions. What could go wrong? 😆

    Can't wait to get my hands on this. Bought the Lotr army book a couple of weeks ago in anticipation. Gonna be fun!

    Can’t wait to see what you come up with with the new terrain. Are we expecting a osgiliath ruins board sometime in the future?

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад +1

      Eventually yes, question is whether I want to build something with permanently fixed ruins or some modularity 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @thefiresofmordor6407
      @thefiresofmordor6407 Год назад

      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes i always lean towards modularity as you can vary up your boards for ongoing gameplay. Avoid that reparative arrangement. But that’s just me. A fixed layout allows for so much more details in the table and some nice little Easter eggs around

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад +1

      Yeah man it’s striking that balance. I need to do some planning and really work out how I’m going to do it 😅

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад +1

      In terms of minis yes. The terrain is pretty sweet in this set. And I think the forces are more balanced in this set too 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @raptorcreate
      @raptorcreate Год назад +1

      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes totally, terrain is cool and for a beginner i'd be happy with the models. personally i think it should have been 50/50 orcs/moranons to add variety. plenenor still the best thou ;) i'm not tempted to buy this tbh.

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад

      @@raptorcreate yeah some regular orcs would have been cool. Imagine if they’d added a plastic orc captain, then there would have been riots in the streets!

    • @raptorcreate
      @raptorcreate Год назад

      @@dicedrinksanddadjokes or if they can't add a plastic captain, they could at least offer players a easy conversion suggestion, say 3 possible captains.

    Hi Adam, great review. I have most of the figures but I am interested in the terrain. I wanna see how you handle it.
    PS I think you are supposed to smell the glue not the plastic. But like a new rules book - it is a sweet smell. LOL

    • @dicedrinksanddadjokes
      @dicedrinksanddadjokes  Год назад

      Cheers Michael, there was plenty of glue smelling when I assembled the terrain (not intentionally) haha. There were lots of components to put together. I'll be releasing a video about it in a couple of weeks. First I'm trying to finish my NZ finals tourney vlog
