Sorry to hear about the stack. Surely not an insurance claim for that though? The excess and premium increase would be more than the repair bill?
Need to claim the Helmet, kriega backpack, neck brace, sena and go pro. All took a big hit and either are broken or cracked.... 😞
Plenty of damaged bikes from ORR. I was one of the lucky ones. Speedy recovery mate
Thanks Craig! I'll be back next year.
Take care out there bud, not fun.
Thanks mate! Will be back!
Oh man, sorry to hear. Speedy recovery.
Thanks mate! I hope so too.
I feel for you, ribs suck to brake or fracture. hopefully the bike is just miner damage. take care hope to see you back up and in the saddle again.
I broke 5 ribs riding my WR450 last weekend. I win.
Fark! - High side?
@@DriveOnLeft Yes mate. In the sand on the way to Robe S.A. I broke a collarbone too! 😀
@@Itchybite unlucky :(
No good about the ribs, been there. Don't go through insurance until the mechanic looks at your bike. Those broken parts are nothing. If the front end is twisted just loosen everything off and bounce the suspension.
I have cart wheeled my 501 and it was fine. Even the sub frame!
Hey mate, my 1k helmet was smashed and I'd rather not use it again, so using insurance more for my damaged gear than the bike.
Yay broken ribs....you get used to it after the 3rd time of breaking the same 5 ribs over a period of 10 years....I am yet to find chest protectors that actually protect the side of the chest where the ribs get broken... heal well mate, take the nice drugs, 3 weeks may be a bit optimistic for dirt riding....
Yeah, I think maybe 6 weeks is more realistic! When you find a chest protector that works, let me know!
Ouch! What happened?!
I was concussed, so not 100 percent sure what caused it, but I remember the bike high siding.
