I was lucky enough to be a part of the live audience for the episode where Cory and Topanga had just moved into the couples dorm which was a total dump. I also loved TGIF! BOY MEETS WORLD was never intended to be or possibly be a Wonder Years type show it was originally just about what life is like with a boy living next door to his teacher However as time went on and the series kept coming back year after year it was becoming The Wonders Years reboot no one ever saw coming. After that the show began dealing with a boy named Cory Mathew’s as he journeys from Elementary School to Junior High to High School then too College and then eventually the real world. Along the way his teacher and mentor MR Feeny teaches him lessons not only about school but life as well also the incredible love story between Cory and Topanga the girl next door the girl he thought was weird but sort of always liked her but then eventually got with her and they faced many challenges over the years but in the end they lived happily ever after. Cory’s best friend Shawn Hunter became a ever bigger character than Cory at times because the show focused on his struggles growing up in a trailer park and his mom running out on him and his dad neglecting him he soon goes to live with a teacher named MR Turner who is sort of like his teacher and mentor. Shawn is a ladies and dates lots of girl but eventually settles down but he faces many challenges and obstacles but overcomes anything and everything that is thrown at him and succeeds to everyone’s highest expectations. Eric Mathew’s evolves a lot too and becomes MR Feenys shadow and philosopher of life well so he thinks. The Parents there friends to bullies to every situation and moment this show became something very different and very special Wonder Years of the 90s
Honestly, the show needed Eric to be a complete goofball in the later seasons to make up for going too heavy on the drama sometimes….

You were reading my mind. 9 seasons!
I loved Lee on One Tree Hill. His character Mouth was in a relationship with another One Tree Hill actress who guess stared on BMW, Elisabeth Harnois. She was also in My Date with the President's daughter with Will Friedle. 😊
Damn 30th anniversary?
Eric and Mr. Feeney were always my favorite characters on this show.
I really didn't like that they made Eric's character such a goofball in the later seasons, but... I guess that's what they thought they had to do.
There was, though, a later episode where Corey is being an absolute jerk to his older brother and yet Eric still had his back.
It was a sad scenario, but I still thought it was good that they aired it.
Minkus is actually Chanel West Coast now.
Other than when he came back for Girl Meets World, the last time I saw Minkus was One Tree Hill.
Loved this show cryed in the last episode because I was getting ready to start highschool at the time I when I graduated four years later that's when it hit me
Minkus was on One Tree Hill as Mouth too lol
$309 at the box office? That had to be the worse of all time.
I was also 11 when this show premiered, same age as Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) was my high school crush. Glad to know she's aged very well and still looks fantastic!
Had a crush on Angela for years after she appeared… then I seen her in Friday after next and was like Daaaaaaaaamn!!!
They all were on Girl Meets World on Disney for a few seasons before Disney cut it.
Man I really miss when people actually watched movies and shows together. I remember every Tuesday a bunch of my friends would get together and have drinks and watch sons of anarchy. Nobody seems to do it anymore. Sad
Wow!! I used to think Ben was actually the kid from Wonder Years. Turns out, there was a reason why, their brothers
The red head hot roommate is a perm star now
Minkus character actually survived the Zodiac and picked him out of a photo lineup at the end of the film as McPoyle frim IASIP
BOY MEETS WORLD was never intended to be or possibly be a Wonder Years type show it was originally just about what life is like with a boy living next door to his teacher
However as time went on and the series kept coming back year after year it was becoming The Wonders Years reboot no one ever saw coming.
The Parents there friends to bullies to every situation and moment this show became something very different and very special
Wonder Years of the 90s
I mever heard of the Pod Meets World podcast. Thanks
I always though Topanga was fine as hell when i was a kid.
When I was a little kid I would always think… “how’s this show so good?”
