Yes because the original lyrics are “You’re such a fucking hypocrite” but he cannot say that on Conan. It is impressive that he can catch himself that quickly.
He's actually singing "you're such a jub jub hypocrite". For context, Conan for years has inserted the phrase "jub jub" randomly since his days at the Simpsons (he actually named Patty and Selma's pet iguana Jub Jub). He mentioned this previously on this episode and randomly kept saying it. Shaun, being a big Conan fan, decided last minute to add it in the song. This randomly enters my brain every once in a while so I decided to search for the performance. Can't believe it was 17 years ago.
Why is the Spotify version of this song so highly edited? 😂 I could never sing along to this song because the range was so insanely wide… But I finally decided to find this clip, and it turns out that neither can the original singer! This sounds nothing like the Spotify version at all! Kind of a relief, I thought I just sucked at singing lol 😭
