Your comment is 3 years old as of today, 2021. Perfectly well said!!! This song goes down in fucking history. It's so true and indicative of our lives in today's world, or should I say the lack of life that is our lives today. If I sound like I'm talking in circles it's because yes and in some twisted way I am a product of this dimension!!!!!! I wonder if it makes sense to anybody else besides me????? 🇺🇸👍💯🗽🎸🌍
dude, it's crazy to see how much Shaun has changed over the years. all that touring, screaming, drinking and smoking caught up with him now yet somehow he still has the best vocals around.
man i love it when music can just be raw like this and utterly destroy the overly done high-quality million dollar LA studio stuff that sounds like plastic. much love
fucking killer genius band and my fav song in the world!!!!!!!!!! and dude on drums kinda resembles the way layne staley looked when he had long hair lol...........love this shit!!!!!!!!!!!! do your thing Shaun!!!!!!!!!!!
I got so tired of hearing the radio edit that I went back to listening to the version that's on their album "Fragile". (Released back in 1999 when they were still in South Africa & known as Saran Gas) But this version is wonderfully beautiful!
I first heard this song on a Madden football game I think it was 2003 version of the game. Instantly fell in love with this song, I don't really like seether as a whole but this song in particular. And especially lately this song has helped me cope. I love music:)
You know what guys it's 3 years since this video's been out this is 2021 and there's another song another version of this out there that is acoustic, and I saw that one should I say heard it because I'm blind anyway that's not why I'm making my comment is to get people to feel sorry for me, I'm making this comment because fine again is my theme song for this year because you know what I will be one day I will be fine I'm working through it life has been really difficult lately as long as I have Caesar to keep me up and running all run people over now speaking of Seether you can't fight this either I love it I love it I love Seether I'm a fan of theirs from day one I guess and they're still rocking if nobody has listened to them in a long time do and for those who are see their fans keep going
@@acousticsound7 Dont know what the WTF ur talking about.. I was commenting about AOL. I've had tech. Problems with them back in the day. Comprehension is everything. That's why I left a thumbs up genius....
There are a couple on youtube. Someone on the Seether forum mentioned a couple of demo tracks were on a cd before Disclaimer came out. I would like to have those, better quaility.
I think Nick Oshiro's drom chops are 2nd to none here. Personally i like him better in Sether than in the speedmetal band. His offbeat rythm's and original chops really touch me in a way few musicians ever hav. of course it's just my opinion... PEACE to all
according to shaun they had to show him what to play most of the time and they must of gotten tired of him. thats probably why they got kevin soffera temporarily in 2003 and then john somewhere around 04 or 05.
WelLRoundeDSquarE If we’re talking drummers what about Vinnie Paul? Or Dave Grohl? Or Neil Peart? Or Chad Smith? They’re all great drummers, give them some credit!
Drum chops are a technical skill and cannot be used as a measure of how good/talented a drummer is. He was very young here and I have not really seen him but to drum for speedmetal band you need stamina, control and insane double bass skills. Drum talent cannot be measured by looking at death/speed drumming real talent comes from drummers being able to play across genre's adapting from song to song without sounding forced or technical. I was curious about him now and searched....besides drum covers no live drumming to compare his growth overall. I agree with names mentioned before Dave Grolh,Chad Smit,Tommy Lee(overall muso guitar, piano, vocals and drums)Lars Ulrich, Phil Collins...I can go on for days, and that is excluding the south african drummers with amazing talent. Lol I can even mention south african death metal drummers whose double bass skills are way better than the drum covers I've seen now.
@rockster2214 I think I remember hearing some where that he had some vocal training sometime after Disclaimer II. It doesn't matter though, Shaun is incredible.
God, it still shocks me how different he looks now.. I met him back when he looked like THIS,, and then at later show a year or two later. WOW........ still my favorite band though :P
Love this!! Couldn't get it to work for me this morning though! (confused) It said "video not available" Hmmm?? As for Shaun sounding like Kurt, he can channel him great on Nirvana covers, it's like having Kurt right there in the room with you. But as he said himself, on Seether stuff, it's all him, all his voice. He's always disliked being compared to Kurt when he was doing his own thing. It takes away from what he's doing he says.
End of 2023 and this is still 🔥 Maybe even more so now..
Why is there not a billion views?!! This song is so fucking good.
Because this is not Nicky Minaj showing her ass and boobs, this is real music with real feelings, nowadays this not sell anymore... Is sad
I agree... Seether is badass!
SEETHER IS LIFE !!!🤘🎸🤟🎸🤘🔥🔥🔥

His talking voice or his singing voice? Both are awesome 👌
June 2023 and still addicted to this song! It has incredible meaning for me and through the worst of it was my ringtone. Much love to you Seether!!!❤
One of the best songs I have ever heard.
dude, it's crazy to see how much Shaun has changed over the years. all that touring, screaming, drinking and smoking caught up with him now yet somehow he still has the best vocals around.
He is looking better nowadays

Right on!
One take. BOOM! Seether has so much more talent than any of the crap bands out on the radio charts now.
This wasn't official take, there's quite a few where the vocals sound different.
@@jonathanbishop6205 but it still sounds good :)

prague no shit...thanks for the info....learn a little something new everyday
yes the fuck I am lol
sounds just like the record! amazing talent!
kdkirby1985 I think this is the actual take for it, one shot one kill
Fonzo Hernandez it was one of the sessions recorded, but the album version has some extra fills in it and backup vocals
Look at nick on drums like a boss. Loved em in static x too. One of the best drummers IMO

Awsome session can't believe I've never seen this before, I could almost smell the new strings on those guitars lol sounds pretty good
shaun is hot period. no matter how young he looks here.
Now I can actually see the exact moment I've been hearing for 18 years now!

well thats nick oshiro at the drums!
Madden 2003 ❤
Nick Annis.
He's currently in a band by the name of Black Light Burns, fronted by Wes Borland (yea, the guitarist from Limp Biskit.)
love this song
Nick Oshiro behind drums!! surprise, but just on little while,He coming back to Static X.....
Whatever the guitarist is doing at 0:13 sounds sick as hell
He turned down the volume on his guitar then hit a fret then rolled his volume back up. He also had a delay pedal in effect.
Was 0:31 a part of another song of theirs? I love it and I can’t find it anywhere
Not sure. Maybe just a riff. Almost sounds like Needles intro tweaked a bit.
Its a song called simple life. Its off of their 2001 demo, its on youtube. It rocks 🤘
Actually listening back it sound more like their version of cigarettes off that same demo lol
Nick Oshiro. He is now with Static X. Good drummer.
Loove seether brazilian love seether
Yeah!
wow this band changed so much... i mean look at shaun compared to now lol amazing band
wow awesome voice
Now,if they would have kept making music like this...
This was a pretty cool video.
It's Nick Oshiro. He is now with Static X.
Thanks you the recommendation RUclips
If you're referring to the one with the green guitar, that's Nick Annis who's currently in Black Light Burns.

Amooooo
fine.
Before he started singing i couldnt believe this should be shaun morgan o.o He looks so young... and fucking alive
top!
He was saying, "I think he's a wimp-ass dude." Shaun loves to joke around and is a tease :P
Even better at 1.25 speed :)
fine
The gain on that Mesa sounds awesome. I can never get them to sound like that...what gives?
I know this is 8 years late... And you might be dead.. But try putting a tube screamer in the front.. Gain all the way down and level all the way up
what did shaun play at 0:18 ?? it was fire af
It's a Seether song. It's called "Cigarettes" and it appears in the second version of their album Disclaimer (Disclaimer II, 2004)
0:48 "Foxy Lady" attempt
It was smoke on the water, dumbass.
That's clearly Darude-Sandstorm
The only ones I know about are the ones on "Fragile" that were re-released on "Disclaimer".
This sounds a lot like the version from "Fragile" when they were Saron Gas
Yeah it is that version I believe, sounds the same
I whis this was today u.u!
