noah is one of the great voices in rock/blues..sorta like a Derek St. Holmes...i always that kenny wayne was an average guitar player, with Noah on the vocals, they make magic together
I play out probably 3-6 times a month with my group not including the occasional jam. What I was trying to say is that out of the circles that are out there the "blues crowd" is very reserved and guarded in my opinion especially the audiences, they don't like to party. It's rock n roll!. See the MUDSHARK111 comment. My heart belomgs to the blues but you'll find me hanging with the rock guys. At least that is how it is by me.
@greasegat dont know if you heard his latest album "the place youre in", but its sounds pretty original, some great tracks on there...and lenny kravitz cant even touch this dude on the guitar....i love kravitz's music, but its really no comparison musician to musician. Just my humble opinion. I think we can all agree he's an incredible talent regardless.
You obviously have no understanding of the blues or lead guitar. It is like saying all jazz sounds the same or hard rock is just noise. Very simplistic way of looking at the music world. God bless. (Maybe your opinion has changed in the last 10 years. Lol)

why do people....., like the guy at the beginning.. feel the need to put their mouth all over the mic while speaking into it? its modern technology... the mic WILL pick up your voice without you slobbering all over the damn thing
I hate to say but KWS has no originality, he's yet to find his own voice, all of his records sound like someone else, whether it be SRV Lenny Kravits and so on. I think he'll be great once he starts playing and making his own music with his own sound. We all play like our influences when we 1st start playing he just never stopped.
if people think Kenny is incredible talent...they really need to listen to more music...this guy is just a SRV ripoff with no originality...and by now it's getting late in the game to be still sounding exactly like his influences...
The licks don't sound any better just because he makes those Stevie Ray mean painful faces guys...they are still just basic blues licks with all the accents in the same typical places...

you can tell that solo was ripped from SRV's version of "come on". I can always pick out where kenny gets his solo's from.
