Sanur is so peaceful. Usually attracts older more mature tourists. Nice big beaches and they are clean and free from the rubbish that the western side beaches suffer in wet season. I've stayed in a few of the big hotels there over the past 10 years. It's a lovely area. I agree with you Krisna, that Sanur definitely does NOT need a beach club! They shouldn't try and turn it into another Canggu/Uluwatu.
Great to see that Sanur has kept its Family vibe. I think he Mall is probably a good addition. Australia has raised the prices of Passports so high that they are more than twice the price of any other country. They are about the same price as a return trip to Bali.
Somebody bought new sunglasses ;-) Are they dark enough when the sun is strong? Regarding The Meru: their guests are quite rich and super private/discreet, so you won't see much of them. Very different from the hotel next door.
