If you couldn't resist the 5 seconds, maybe it's not that TikTok fried your brain or that you have ADHD, maybe it's because at minute 0:36 there are 32 animated cuts trying to make you feel every damn emotion you could never have in the last 10 years.
Great editing as usual and another fun vid! I'm sad that I don't have my 10 gallon setup while assigned here in Guam to try a tweaked version of this lager, but I'm excited to try this and some of the recent memebrews you've been posting when I get back to the States!
Fermenting in the brew vessel you’re pushing the boundaries again fantastic. Ended up super clear and light. Another super entertaining and informative video 👍I love Asahi . Never brewed with rice but after watching this I feel I should. Cheers from over the pond I appreciate you guys 👍🍻
The number one rule in homebrew is to have a homebrew while making a homebrew. If you don't have a home brew, supplement with your favorite beverage. Seeing the final results that beer should be called Crystal Ale after Crystal Pepsi.
this whole time i was thinking "why not use malted rice?" - buy rice seeds, moisturize them, germinate them, boom, you got rice that is converting starch into sugars like barley does - since seeds have starch so that germination can be fed by converting them into sugars.
If you want to make decent beer, no brew day should be without a calibrated pH reader. Plus readings should be taken post boil and ideally post fermentation to make adjustments before it's packaged
Have you guys ever used a brew bag for your system. I know the screen in the basket is enough, but it seems a little more "clean" friendly to just pull the bag out with all the grains vs running with the basket to a dumping place LOL. Would adding a 400 micron bag to that basket cause any efficiency loss?
I'd love to see you guys and the Flying Wombat boys do a collab one of these days. They make odd and strange beers and you do as well. I think both crews could come up with something if not special, hilarious.
The american past time of removing as much beer from your beer as possible continues. Made for a great watch, though It could be classified as a crime against barley and hops. Prost ihr alten Bierverwässerer
Wow, the rice lager really cleared up nicely. Looks tasty, Congrats and cheers!!
Looks like it worked out nicely!
I’m digging this style of editing and I’m watching all of it. Good retention strategy to say it as a call to action..

Wow. Watched the live brew day. Can't believe this turned out so well after all that. 😂😂
Looks CRISPY!

OK now I gotta try fermenting in my kettle!
It’s a highly effective way to be lazy. And sometimes it even works

Loving the live streams!
13:28 minute video and only the last 34 seconds was something I hadn't already watched.
When’s publication date on your book Kyle? I’d totally buy that!!
Looks really good. I would love to try this but I have a feeling I wouldn’t work as well for me.
NGL I started fermenting in my Anvil foundry 3-4 brews ago... keeping it at 95 with kviek.... and the beer turns out great. 1 less mess to clean..
maybe add about 10% of the total grainbill in rice hulls too help avoid a stuck mash?
from the world's haziest light lager to the world's lightest lager - very well done! 👏

Cool video...I'm going to try this...getting drunk during brew day as well.
ABV?
Nice editing. I forget her name on your team but she's doing great work!
Inspiring! 🍻
I’m wondering why not just use sugar instead of rice. Like a kilju beer?
Beer flavored hard seltzer, wait till White Claw finds out about this! 😂😂😂
What was the final SRM?
you going to eat that rice?
Do you think they should?
@ I would 💪

When are you live streaming a brew again .. I wanna align my brew with your live stream
In about 12 hours
@@ClawhammerSupply post a recipe prior to a live stream so followers can follow along... obviously drinking included
Aqui no Brasil usamos flocos de arroz. Ai colocamos direto na mostura pq ele ja foi gelatinado
Videos like this make me realize I'm not doing too bad going through life as I do
not because this is bad or anything - it's that this video is excellent and the vibe is hella chill.
1:24 😂lol how many Chinese restaurants got this just to cook rice
Can you use corn vs barley - I am thinking a cream ale used with rice and corn. Hmmmm...
use a paint mixer ,,works wonde for mixing
rice beer = wicked headache
nice job somehow solving it
God damn thats clear
Amazing editing as usual! Keep bringing this great slightly unhinged content!
ABV?
Like Hanoi Bai Hoi?
Omg I just completely forgot this was a thing, core memory unlocked.
Booking flights right now!
WASH THE RICE! WASH YOUR RICE!!!! WASH ITTTTTT!!!!!111!!!!!1!!!111111!!!!!
why wash it for brewing? excess starch would be a good thing. removing dirt/etc wouldn't matter since its going to be boiled anyway

why don’t you guys try using malted rice?
I did you do a iodine test? I think your technical enzymes saved the beer
We did not
He sounds like if the king of random made alcohol content (not a complain)
Diese Kommentarsektion ist noch zu haben, die brauchen wir wirklich nicht.

That’d be risky. Also, super easy to clean if you just fill kettle with water after brewing and add some PBW.
Welcome to the rice fields?
When I brew a wheat beer I usually do a protein rest to help with runoff, will this also help me with a rice lager?
ultra adjunct lager
It's a great video i really like the density of information but i felt like there was a plug for something every two minutes
as a german watching this is just insulting

Anybody catch the abv
I have diagnosed ADHD. What now

Next time you should try to brew, ferment, carbonate and serve out of the kettle
You have used the wrong rice you have to use glutinous rice which does the same thing as barley.
