The stronger/better that the Offensive Line, the better the chances are for a team to be successful. I played O-Line for many years and I remember one of my O-Line coaches saying: "Gentlemen, if we don't do our jobs today, the pretty boys can't get their pictures in the paper tomorrow." :)
@@jirikurto3859 Chris Harper and Darren Thomas were also on that 2008 team. They were freshmen and although Masoli was a sophomore it was his first season at Oregon, so technically he was either tied as third string or fifth.
I dont know how to pronounce his name either, but it's probably oo-too /uː.tuː/ not yoo-too /juː.tuː/ Putting a "y" /j/ sound in there when a word is spelled with a "u" is an English thing.
Super stoked to see the Oline getting some loveeeee 🤩
:)

Go Ducks!
Oregon might flip Jaron Sagapolutele
Masoli was a fifth QB until a ton of injuries pushed him to the top…
You make a good point.
I don't think there was much truth to that narrative. Only Nate Costa and Justin Roper were really ahead of him.
