That was me in the Silver e92 M3. I could only manage a 2:08:97 with lot's of understeer on old tires, but my car has dampers, brakes and camber. Very impressive times, but not unexpected given your video from TWS with 1.2 million views! Hope to see you at the track and even hire you for coaching!
Thanks Daniel! I do a fair amount of coaching and I’m here in the DFW metroplex so hit me up. You can find me on LinkedIn or fb. Hope our paths cross soon! (And I have a new project underway for endurance racing... hoping to pull together some video on that front soon).
Man seeing you drive like that it’s insane how much this car can do. I am hoping to visit there one day. What is your setup for the bumper mounted mic?
Wow...that's a VERY impressive time at ECR with what's basically a stock car with tires and pads/fluid. What size tires were on the car? Stock wheels I'm guessing? Was this a manual or dual clutch? (sounded like a manual). Any idea what tire pressure you were running?
yep 6MT. RE71 are 200TW but pretty sticky tires as street tires go. Tires were 255/35/19 and 275/35/19. Apex wheels, same size I believe, just didn't want to mess up the stock wheels mounting tires more often. Can't recall the pressures, but I didn't really play with it ... I just drove them with what I drove to the track on pressure-wise. Probably mid-30's hot if I had to guess. Thanks for watching and posting!
@@Racer_X thanks for the reply. So a bit wider than stock but not dramatically so. The RE71r is a killer tire for a really hot lap but seems to get greasy after too much abuse and needs to cool off. I'd be curious what the car is capable of on Ventus R-S4 tires. It would certainly be a touch slower but could put up consistent lap times till the tank runs dry haha.
Where can I contact you? I have some questions, can’t seem to find you on fb and not sure I have the correct website it goes to c6performance and not sure how to contact you, thanks.
The howling of those front tires, haha
computiNATEor lol yep and the mic was on the rear bumper.
Camber plates did make a bit of difference on my M2C. I also lowered front tire pressure a couple lbs too.
Danny is a good driver!

Hey Daniel, I'm a pro coach and member at ECR now so look me up. Hope to see you out there!
Awesome man, going to be there late February! 🏁🏎
Great track. You’re going to love it.

That GTR looked like it was on parade laps. It hit one apex in that first lap.

Love the videos, I'll subscribe when you start verbal commentary, say it loud and proud.
I’ve never actually considered that. I will... thank you!
No love tap?
Not in my daily driver 😁
