    I like how you don’t rush the filming, or skip any major parts, letting us the viewers, fully understand your technique. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

    Long time no see. Mojo thing happens for time to time, glad to see you back. A side note, even if you're just messing around at the bench film it & post, it's all gold.

    I totally understand about finding your mojo again. About 6 months ago, I was working on a Revell P-61 Black Widow 1/48 scale. There were fit issues, tail dragging even after I added a ton of nose weight, fit issues in the front wheel well, etc. I was just about to start putting primer on it and I tripped and fell right on top of it. There was no fixing that mess! I waited a few weeks and started a kit that was simpler, and very well engineered. It helped me to find my Mojo again.

    Over the summer months I don't do any modelling. I don't like the idea of being hidden away indoors when the sun is shining outside and there are opportunities to have a beer in the garden. I buy kits though which builds anticipation for the colder months. I think breaks are very necessary to keep the enthusiasm level.
    When I build kits now, I often have an initial session of gluing halves together, things like bombs drop tanks, missiles, wheels etc. as the glue can have several days to dry before the parts are needed. I use CA glue as a filler almost all of the time as I hate the soft fillers that never seem to dry and sand properly. CA glue is a lot harder than most plastic, but I have bought some really expensive small files and they cut really nicely compared to the poorly made Chinese stuff. This enables the CA filler to be filed back really accurately so you don't take the plastic away and leave the CA proud with ghost seams.

    You said exactly what I was going to mention. The Me-109 is like a snap kit to this channel. I am sure it will be one of the finest 109's built.

    The Tamiya 109s are a simple and fun kit that build into a decent representation of the iconic fighter. I enjoy your videos and am looking forward to part 2!

    Great modeling skill's, love your finish models ! In this video you said you couldn't find the pilot from the kit . A while back I watched your video titled "Adding a Wire Antenna with EZ Line". In the comments you replied to a member who asked , were did you get the pilot ? Your response was " I stole it from a BF-109 kit". I thought that was kind of funny that you would be looking now for that pilot.
    And by the way, I'm glad your back in the groove and healthy !

    Great to see you back at the bench. Mojo comes and goes. For me, summers in the currently un AC garage are a no go, but its starting to cool off. I heed to install some ac and get production up to wartime standards.

    Wanted to warn those beginners who don't know that kicker will attack paint as well. It causes it to crack and check. Be careful with it.

      What type of paint? I rarely use it on a painted surface but have on occasion while attaching ez-line for rigging or landing gear parts and have never noticed any issues with Tamiya acrylics.

    Good afternoon. I really like your work. I find a lot of interesting things for myself. I have a question. At 40:04 you wipe the model with a sticky cloth, I can't understand what kind of cloth it is that removes lint from a paper towel. You can give a link to see how it looks new. Thank you.

      Never built an Eduard kit

    • @roninnz704
      @roninnz704 Год назад +1

      Tamiya in my opinion. Nose angle is a little off on the Eduard kit. The Tamiya's main issue is that the rear fuselage is a little short (overall about 2mm). Ironically, Eduard is about 2mm too long. But that issue can be fixed with some good skills if it bothers you enough to do something about it.
