A 1967 857 Wheel Horse tractor brought back to life!

- I haven't posted many arrowhead finding or flintknapping videos recently because I have been busy with another passion of mine. Since the 1960's I have had a fascination with Wheel Horse tractors. My Dad had one and that I used it to mow our lawn along with many other neighborhood lawns. I used a Wheel Horse at work for many years to mow the lawn there and to also snow-blow the driveway. Back in 1988 I bought a brand new 310-8 10 Hp wheel horse tractor that I am still using to mow my lawn and plow my driveway in the winter. Now I own 3 of them and my latest project tractor is a vintage 1967 857 Wheel Horse tractor with a 32" mower deck. I have completed the partial restoration I planned on doing on this tractor and this video will show the end result. I hope you enjoy this look at my latest hobby!

Jenny's family had a old garden tractor growing up. I though maybe it was a Wheel Horse but she says its a Tiger. Her brother still has it in the old chicken house. Nice job on the restore.

Pretty cool that you restore the old lawn tractors. Pretty rare birds now. I am sure most got scrapped. Did you repaint that one and put new decals on it? Great job on it. Take care and I hope you get to hunt some points soon.
I only touched up the paint and didn't paint the whole tractor, it was in pretty good condition when I got it. I will post a video tomorrow of an awesome find I made today as I was returning home from caching in my recyclables. I was passing by a field I use to look for arrowheads on many years ago and stopped to take a quick look and found something amazing. Check out the vid tomorrow!
I have the same one and mine turns one the exact same way as yours choke and a tiny bit of gas and on it goes, actually I hope you didn't still mine I got to go to the farm and check.
how much cost a tractor like this one
These old tractors sell for $500 dollars and up. I paid $300 because I had to do a lot of work to get it in this shape.
